I had a longer post earlier but somehow it has disappeared. Anyway, check out the Imax trailer at :13 seconds. It looks to me like Vickers is carting around a lifeless Weyland. Perhaps they are using the reanimating technology to bring him back and then intend to use the "goo" to being him back permanently.

The hair looks rather similar to David's.....though it almost looks as if David hasn't been "turned on" or something. I know that sounds rather stupid, but....
