MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 3:03 AMThese load up ok, but the PP site is just a static page - with no navigable
links or buttons that I can see at least on my pc. E More or less same with the
Weyland Industries site - how do I access all the info everybody's mentioning?
I've created an 'account' out of curiosity but I've just received one email so far
(today). Still no joy navigating that one either. What am I doing wrong anyone?
Edit: I've just clicked on 'Investor Information' and there seems to be some results
duuhh, lol. I can see all the 'working for weyland' rate graphs and the 'David' info
etc now - is this right and is there more anyone? I'm the usual johnny-come-lately
with stuff like this, you'll have to be patient with me please.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 4:21 AMOkay, to get you up-to-date:
Second mystery was found on the timeline page. It was solved after people figured out that HD 245409 was a planet humanity has sent a message to. The password for that page is the sequence in which the message was sent:

The third mystery was found in the second trailer from one of the ancient tablets discovered in Eridu. The password is the name that Eridu is now known as:

The fourth mystery is a work in progress.
Hope that explains everything.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 6:01 AMHey Zeta, are you using Firefox as your browser? I had some issues viewing the two sites when using Firefox - some of the Weyland time line was missing etc. Used IE and it worked a treat.

MemberXenomorphMar-22-2012 6:07 AMGehirn,
The code is in the periodic table. Some of the basic elements don't match with the current periodic table. Look at the heavier short lived elements. Berkelium (247) is call Orichicallum on the Weyland list of elements on the sheet. I don't have time to dig into this more, I have to get ready for work.
Laters,
Rick

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 6:16 AMGood shout Rick.
Orichicallum shows up as metal mentioned in ancient writings, most notably in Altantis writings.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 6:29 AMHi all,
one other thing that seems strange - Coal, Oil and Gas are listed as elements (they are not) and have a life expectancy of >5000 years?

Rick
MemberXenomorphMar-22-2012 6:37 AMOnly things I'm finding that are out of place are Carmot and Orichalcum. Carmot has something to do with the Philosopher's Stone and Axl had a really nice find. Carmot = 217 Orichalcum = 247 um thats weird they're exactly 30 apart. Check 30 on either direction on the Weyland List. It could be a numeric code or it could be the real elements on our periodic table for the code
Later Guys, Keep me posted on the find.
Regards,
Rick

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 6:38 AMThat is not a table of elements, it is just a resource key.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 6:40 AMThe Weyland table is driving me bonkers. It incorrectly lists Ti(tanium) with atomic number 45 (meant to be 22...or is it? hmm...).
It also classifies Graphite as an element (Pc - Pyroltic Carbon?) and again, this atomic number is duplicated along with Adamantine (Ax), with the value of 147.
Other than that, the structure is sound (despite possessing numerous fictional elements and giving water, oil and gas symbols).

Biomechanic
MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 6:44 AMIt is just used as a key to explain the resources. The numbers are probably "Measured in years at current rate of consumption. " It will vary depending on different factors.

MemberXenomorphMar-22-2012 6:47 AMBio,
Bud, thats why I'm refering it to a list. The majority is listed properly but there are several odd balls. Gehirn is right about it driving you crazy but the code has to be in there. Its the only thing we can work with on the Weyland List besides changing the David Model Number. You know check the numbers there could be a code hidden in there as well
Guys, I'm really out have a good one.
Regards,
Rick

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 6:59 AMCheck out what I found about the resource EITR on the Weyland Table
Eitr
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Eitr is a mythical substance in Norse mythology. This liquid substance is the origin of all living things, the first giant Ymir was conceived from eitr. The substance is supposed to be very poisonous and is also produced by Jörmungandr (the Midgard serpent) and other serpents.

[edit]Etymology
The word eitr exists in most North Germanic languages (all derived from the Old Norse language) in Icelandic/Faroese eitur, in Danish edder, in Swedish etter. Cognates also exist in Dutch etter (pus), in German Eiter (pus),in Old Saxon ĕttar, in Old English ăttor. The word is broadly translated: poisonous, evil, bad, angry, sinister etc.[1]
The word is used in common Scandinavian folklore as a synonym for snake poison.[2]
[edit]Ymir
In Vafþrúðnismál Odin asks the Giant Vafþrúðnir about the origin of Ymir. Vafþrúðnir answers:
Ór Élivagom
stukko eitrdropar,
svá óx, unz varð ór iötunn;
þar órar ættir
kómu allar saman,
því er þat æ allt til atalt.
Rough translation:
From Éliwaves
Eitrdrops splashed
that grew into a giant
who begat all families
from which all [giants] come
that is why we are easily angered
The last line of the stanza in Vafþrúðnismál where Vafþrúðnir says "that is why we are easily angered", is a word-play with the meaning of the word eitr, as it also means anger/angry (similar to "poison a relationship").[1]

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 7:29 AMMaybe make a list of the real elements with correct atomic number and then click each one on the keypad in order from lowest to highest?
This stuff annoys me it takes too much time and energy and some nerd has already figured it out anyway. Meh!

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 7:35 AMHere's what a sorted resource list would look like:

I've put what I think some of the odd elements are in parenthesis.

MemberOvomorphMar-22-2012 3:25 PMThanks all, but I've little patience with the code-searching thing I'm
afraid. I'll have a shufty on it now and then and see what I can glean from
trial and error. Thanks again, everyone.
