MemberOvomorphMar-23-2012 6:18 PMI can't believe how similar Virgin Galactic's spaceport is to the Boneship (using this now as I agree with Biomechanic on using a different name to derelict).
Have a look at this photo from New Mexico. It's freaky that a real-life Peter Weyland has created a spaceport that looks like the derelict. Maybe he knows something we don't!

MemberOvomorphMar-23-2012 6:27 PMnice image :) but can you stop with the bone ship? i understand why you might want to call it something else but why something so stupid? why not the jockey ship or the engineer ship or simply just "the alien ship" why bone ship?

MemberOvomorphMar-23-2012 6:30 PMI watched an interview with Ridley about the making of the original ship and most of the set decoration was bones spray-painted black. Apparently, the set stunk really bad!!!
It seems strange that Richard chose that design. I bet he's an Alien fan:-)))

Don't forget your $100,000 if you wanna ride!
I'm holding out for a commercial job on a space tug. Hope I live long enough.

MemberOvomorphMar-23-2012 7:05 PMIt will NEVER happen..........Branson's creations are SUB-orbital.....wow.....get me up to 100K feet........When he gets something into ORBIT and has a successful REENTRY....I will be impressed......and WHEN he has his first DISASTER......he's finished.......
