MemberOvomorphMar-24-2012 12:22 PMi must say, i have actually been a big fan of the ancient aliens genre, especially star gate, i really like star gate, but this genre has never been taken seriously and there has never been that big epic masterpiece film based around that idea, and now with that stupid show on history i felt that there never would be....... until now. i have hope that Prometheus will be it, the big one, and maybe will earn that idea some respect in the movie biz

MemberOvomorphMar-24-2012 1:46 PMI love that with the Alien franchise that there's actually a slight possibility that creatures like the Space Jockey and the Xenomorph could be out there in the vast expanses of the universe. Like in Prometheus how Hollaway and Shaw discover all those hieroglyphs throughout different cultures. There's a lot of little hints in ancient civilizations records that point at the possibility of alien life. Thats one cool thing about the franchise is that there's a possibility that things similiar found in ALIEN could possibly exist. So there's that sense of reality that we can suck in from the films.
