Sculpture project - does the head have eyes?

I am doing a sculpture based on this and the black eye-sockets are a bit evasive. I've seen the large side view pic of one of the characters approaching it, but I can't tell if the eyelids are hollow and have light shining from within or if they are eyeballs reflecting the torchlight. Anyone with a sharper perception please?

I always imagined them to be breathing holes like the ones you find on the bio-boosted armour suit worn by The Guyver because it looks like the SJ's head has fallen back into the chair and he is looking up

Zeta, I believe you to be speaking of the huge head they find in the cave. The eyes are a little ambiguous and dark, aren't they? I could easily imagine them lighting up at some point. My guess is you'll have to wait for the movie to see what lies within those eyes.

There's a brief shot in the IMAX trailer anyway, of an SJ in a chair - he's a bit smaller compared to the back of the chair than our old friend from ALIEN though - he's getting biomechanically strapped in, ribs slide INTO place and other little creepy bits settle in around him. The eyes in that one appear dark but with a specular reflection.

Lol, thanks Jonesjr and skyguy1054, but I meant the totem head as necrofan said, not the SJs, sorry I should've been more specific. My thoughts too necro, I'll wait until the film comes out or even some possible merchandise - surely that head will be a collectible? Then I'll see what the hidden detailing is. I'm vague on the plinth configuration too - I mean, is it circular and what are the surface features, paved or stone surface, etc. I'll wait it out and see what the coming months bring in the way of pics.

I believe the face on that head originally belonged to HR Giger. If I am right, you will find the missing details you seek by studying that mans face. Good luck!
