These strange tentacles...

Looks like it would be that worm/squid coming out of Shaw's Belly. The guy with the eye is infected with that thing from the dumdum room, and makes a baby with Shaw that goes horribly wrong? First born Alien? They still have to fight the engineers while that worm is around. This ight be how Alien is explained on a sidenote?

Notice the bloody fingerprints on the wall too.......somebody in that room isnt in one piece. OH NO......its the origins of THE THING.

I wonder if she's gonna have any feelings for her squid baby. Like in Rosemary's baby. Isn't there a clip where she looks more sad than frightened after seeing the big tentacle?

I presume it's the same squid that goes trough a suit in an arm at a certain moment of the trailer?

The thing hunting Shaw seems to be really big. From the movement of the tentacle I do not think it crawls like a worm - it must be some fast running xeno creature, maybe an ancestor of the alien. Can't wait to see it... seems to be a mean bastard with a horrifing life cycle. Pain all the way, yeah! :-)

What if.......if it is indeed a squid thing, if its only squidy because thats the last creature that it transmogorified into (is that even a word lol?)......but now the humans have turned up it can take on a more humanoid figure .....HOORAH......the Xenos origins at last lol.

Ill bet my share that we dont get to see much of the creatures.....remember Mr Riddles prefers to keep them in the dark and unseen. He said in an interview that they only get you because you back up against a wall......stay in the open and your safe.

Perhaps the tentacled thing is what the DUMDUM head turns into? Or whats inside it.

@Aquila210 The 3rd pic of the dissolving hologram definitely depicts a human crew member in a spacesuit.

@DEREZZ Maybe you are right. Inititally I was thinking the same way about it. Then I watched the scene in 1080p from the wondercon trailer several times. The more often I watched the movement and shape of the creature the more I had doubts that this is a human in a spacesuit. If you go frame by frame it looks really strange. But maybe I just got to much time until I can finally watch this movie...

Looking at the colour of the tentacle I'd say it becomes the tall blue guy we see approaching the Space Jockey chair
