Five Crazy plot ideas (And my guess on the real plot)

ok, first off, five silly plot ideas... And I thought I posted it, but it did not show up in 20 mins, so if it repeats, I am sorry mods. 1. That the last thirty minutes david has "Its full of stars" moment and after a long psychedelic trip where the crew is killed, he is the new "Star child". If it was this, Prometheus would be the biggest bomb ever, but Sir R.S. would prove that he has balls size of Wales. 2. That all the marketing is tripping us up, and Ford, who on record that she dies in the first thirty minutes of the film, actually is the only survivor and the marketing is focusing on other characters to mislead us. 3. the ENTIRE CREW is robots, but only david knows he is one, the rest think they are humans. 4. Even though Sir R.S. has said "the Alien is in Disney world and useless" the actual movie consists of long battles with the traditional aliens that outdoes Aliens... 5. wayland put his personality in each of the new Davids, which means they all suffer a great god complex. hilarity ensues. Two things that I am afraid might happen... 1. Sir R.S. will submit the greatest horror movie ever, however in Brazil fashion, fox will recut it to PG-13 and make it have a happy ending. 2. It has a time travel story where one of the crew becomes the first human seen in the first 10 mins of the movie..... My idea on the plot. A few mins of gorgeous shots from Iceland showing some sort of Aliens creating human life as we know it. fast forward to Shaw and Holiday finding a cave painting showing the last of the star map puzzle. A older Mr. Wayland shows interests in this, and finances a team to go to the system listed in the star maps, the crew meets, there is a briefing, the crew goes into hypersleep. David is shown walking around kinda oddly and then wakes up the crew as they get close to the system. They scan it and find a complex on one of the worlds, so they aim to land at that location. they land, and the crew gears up and heads to the "Temple" complex. They explore the ruins, setting off the red probes. the probes find signs of life, so they explore further. They find the "Head" room. exploring they find all sorts of discoveries. David finds novel biological material that he wants to research. Halloway and another person is infected, halloway with a "Space Jockey" mutitgen, designed to turn whoever into a space jockey. "Mohawk" gets infected when david takes the material from the location in a defensive mechanism. the crew returns the first night, David researches the material, Shaw and Holiday make love, and after hearing David's report, activates subplan B, waking up Mr. Wayland and his bodyguards as David indicates that the biological material is what wayland expected, the stuff that can make new novel intelligent life, the stuff of gods. in the morning, one of the crew is missing, the rescue party is disturbed by a massive dust storm. the crew recovers itself, and the missing crew member returns, insisting they are ok. Shaw feels something is wrong. insert birth from hell. Holiday is turning into a space jockey, while mohawk goes mad and tries to kill everyone. Everyone dons suits and Wayland and his bodyguards try to shoot it out with the mohawk. Shaw is horrified by what her love has become, the crew returns to the temple to try to figure stuff out. David and Holiday/Space Jockey go into the star map room and the Space Jockey reveals that his race is what seeded humanity, and while they are impressed with David, they dislike the hubris of humanity and Wayland. the Jockey decides to elminate humanity as the Synthetics are the real interest. The Space Jockey formally known as holiday get in the chair, and the suit "merges" on. the ship starts to take off. The Prometheus captain decides to save the world by ramming the Space Jockey Ship. Vickers makes a mad dash to the safety pod as the ship ramps up and goes "Ramming Speed". The alien ship crashes, and Vickers (from the pod) and Shaw (who was on the surface) run like hell to avoid being killed by the crashing ship. They enter, Shaw confronts her former love, and Vickers David. Yes, tons of plot holes, (Which can be fixed but i have no idea from the trailers how it might go) and it a framework on how I see the plot shaping up. Just my .02 cents.

Interesting thread, some good ideas in there but my interpretation of what we know and have seen so far is this, 1. The figure by the waterfall is an Engineer/Jockey, its Earth way back before life started. The large disc in the sky above the falls is a the vessel that has brought him and some others, The Elders, to this point to seed humanity it has something to do with his affliction, (he looks at his arms and he appears to have lesions on his head. 2.I think initially they are happy to see us, until we start tinkering around with their work and then we are seen as an experiment that has run its course and is ready to be terminated. 3. OR and this is what I reckon, whacky though it may be, Weyland is onboard ( why this is being kept secret I dont know) but judging by previous discussions its either Wetland, or an unfortuanate crew member who has had his DNA corrupted by exposure to something in the ampule room and has aged prematurely, I reckon its Weyland, realising a life long dream for first contact and hoping for some Roy Batty style key to immortality, perhaps he gets it and thinks what else can I grab whiloe I am here?. perhaps itys career driven Vickers or David with some alternative motive grabs some tech which pisses the Elders off to the point they decide enough is enough, "Eevry king has his reign...and then he dies" we were the pinnacle of their experiments on Earth but when we steal the same abilities we outgrow our usefulness and challenge them for the status of God. @MrF1978, I reckon its shot in Iceland and rumour had it Scott was filming the beginning up there. 4. Has anyone discussed which planet this is set on?, I only ask as I didnt think it was LV426 or Acheron until I saw the ringed giant in the top right corner as Prometheus comes in to land?, coincidence?, perhaps, unless there are several SJ ships crashing it would explain how it comes to rest on the surface after the collision. 5. A lot of this is speculaltion of course but some has to be pretty close to the actual plot. Any takers?.

[Another left field idea - That Elizabeth Shaw is a Synth but does not know it. Ash, Bishop, Call, David, Elizabeth.... as i know, she has red blood, so most likely that is a no...

Vickers could very well be an android, seeing as to how she slams David into a wall in the trailer. She could be the plan B, just in case David should fail at his task(or is killed somehow).

Since we are going in all directions maybe Vickers is a synthetic or real plant from the Yutani corp.

Zedwardson: 1. Thank you for picking up my idea as posted in "David's Demise." Almost word for word. Interesting.

The trailer shows David in the star map holding earth and then as the Space Jockey seat is emerging a now Green hologram of earth is put in place. The space jockey was much bigger than humans, so how does an inorganic android mutate and grow? This movie looks awesome, but I won't lie, when it ends without one "alien" I will be disappointed. White slugs running up the arm instead of face huggers? In addition to turning into a Space Jockey the person also gets inpregnated with an Alien, so there are two mutagens? or one does both jobs? Lots of questions. See you at the theatres I guess.
