Prometheus-movie.com after June

Question, what happens to this site after June 2012? Seems the name of the site has back itself into a corner much like the Alien movie series - Why didn't they just freeze him - why does the SJ have a elephant trunk & why is he strapped into a ship that had crashed landed and not able to fly? Sorry ranting - but the name has locked into just Prometeus and not Prometheus Universe. We all hope for a follow up movie but we can't bank on it yet. I follow Batman movies on Batman on film. So that website makes sense. Any Batman movie news I go there. I guess I know the answer - but the website does in a sense lock you into Prometeus and not beyond - technically. Don't cast to many stones - its just a thought or a question.

Good question and the future of the site may be something on the order of what you yourself have typed here...maybe "Prometheus and Beyond" Ridley Scott is not done yet and the "Beyond" would cover his following Sci-Fi projects.

Its a very valid question. I really hope that this site continues, but did ask myself earlier if it will be as popular as it is now after weve all seen the movie. Plus it seems this site has taken over as unofficially the official site for everything Prometheus. And.....perhaps the fan directors like Cameron etc may do sequels to Prometheus as they did with Alien. Perhaps we`ll end up with Prometheus vs Predator movies lol.....so instead of 4 alien movies plus 2 AVP movies we end up with another 4+2 movies making Alien the biggest universe franchise in the ......well.......universe lol.

Well, the site can still serve as a forum for discussing our feelings about the film after we see it and any unanswered or new questions. Plus it can keep us posted any future Ridley projects, especially if a sequel is in the works.

Prometheus and beyond is a good one. I'm sure they will think of something. Maybe a link to a new site. It would be nice to have a place to check in for any future project updates, like BOF does with Batman movie news.

If the movie is a success, merchandize will follow. Oscars. Books will follow. Games will follow. And perhaps, a prequel/sequel/whatever will follow. Could be the start of a new franchise. Reasons enough for this site to continue.

Well speaking as an older schmuck who has never previously been involved with a fan site I certainly hope it continues to be relevant afterwards. I'm having way too much fun talking shit with all you prometheites !!
