Just thought of something.. One of the story concepts of Blade Runner was the difficulty of detecting the androids. The whole retina scan/emotinal response bull-shyte! Why not just x-ray them? Lots of metal... guess what? You're an effin robot!

No, Ash is made of milk, pasta, and marbles, it should be quite easy to spot one! You don't even need X-Ray, a sauna is enough to bake him! Jokes apart, in Blade Runner they keep it quite ambiguous, so I suspect that they should be quite indistinguishable from humans from an anatomical POW.

Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born. Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

@boxword yeah just put him in the microwave..;) .. scanner , retina would be the most difficult to replicate I think. better than breath scanner ? ( alien 4) ..

The universe difference is what is key here. Blade Runner universe: a replicant is on a cellular level, so blood bone and flesh just artificially created and cloned cells with no capability to mutate or change from basic molded structure. [Prick your finger and get red blood substance] Alien universe: Ash as stated by Noxword.. "milk, pasta, and marbles" [prick your finger and get condensed milk]
