As I was reading it, I snapped away in tight on key pages and then later noticed these 3 Pics came out pretty cool looking, stuff we've seen many times but with a different look to them. Whats with with hammer/anvil motif so prevalent in Giger's ship design? It may have already been discussed. I love it, but that HAS to the head of a giant tool of some kind... or maybe I'm the tool...

That is the exact reason I loved the way that pic came out my friend, because the HAMMER is in it's best position for viewing.

Any thoughts on its purpose? It must serve one. I love the way it suggests the most basic technological construct environment in a blacksmith's tools. The fire, pounding, and overall violent process that gives you, in the end, an original creation of great beauty- in the hands of the right artisan.
