Dan O'Bannon's Orignal Alien Script With His Own Artwork

Always makes me smile when I see old interviews with Dan (R.I.P) talking about how when Alien finally was released in theatres people in Hollywood finally took him seriously as a writer.

IMO...He would be so Happy to know this was being done with Ridley in charge and for all the content of the film. He was Dead Set against anything after ALIEN, but THIS...there is NO question in my mind That THIS...he would have Freaked and stood behind it and been all for it, even would have tried to get involved and help in some way I am positive.

Ridley always seemed to like Dan and vice versa. I'm glad he's gone back to the O'Bannon/Giger well in a big way with Prometheus. I'm sure Dan would be happy with the results. PS: Dig that picture of the alien hanging off of Roby's foot. I wish I could visit the alternate universe where Alien got made as a Corman picture with Dan directing so I could see that moment on the big screen.
