MemberOvomorphApr-10-2012 9:43 AMOk, I will try once again to post this urgent thread. I saw the 15 or so minutes of mind bending footage this morning at the vue cinema Leicester square. I will post in three parts so as to avoid having to retype. firstly the lush 3d and visuals where immense! The first footage shown was all set at the isle of Skye Scotland, the archeological dig. It came up on the screen 2089. Galloway was called over to shawls section of the dig,and then it was pretty much what we have seen in the trailers but more drawn out as the duo explore the cave and you see there interaction more. Shaw wells up and says the line I think they want us to come and find them. The footage then switched to the vastness of space, the visuals where massive, lush and stunning! The camera then zoomed in on a tiny spec in space, this spec then became a truly massive shot of the Prometheus and info ala alien came up on the screen,, ship Prometheus course confidential, crew 17', then it said something like miles from earth and it was some massive figure with a tiny 14 at the side of a 10! It then as per alien zoned into the inside of the ship with David wandering around monitoring things. The visuals once again looked awesome, every shot was a joy to behold. I will post this before carrying on to the juicy stuff as I am now on a friends I pod as my blackberry previously didn't post my full thread,

Was David wearing the crazy white helmet with the yellow visor in any of the crew monitoring scenes?
I wonder why they would say the Prometheus course was confidential and then say they landed on LV-223.

MemberOvomorphApr-10-2012 9:57 AMThe information saying mission confidential came up as text as you saw the massive Prometheus cruising through the vastness of space. They are then given the details in a mission briefing that I will cover in part 3'after they have all woke from hypersleep. No the scene with David and his visor was not present.

MemberOvomorphApr-10-2012 10:07 AMI would have bet money that scene David wearing the visor was during the cryso sleep. I read your post Biomechanic on if David was checking out Shaw dreaming and I found it to be a cool idea. Now I'm totally puzzled where the visor comes into use.

MemberOvomorphApr-10-2012 10:12 AMRemember guys, even though we were seeing scenes play out, from the footage of David and Vikers conversation it just skipped straight to shaw throwing up, it's still feasible there is more interim footage prior to all the crew waking up. In fact we even see the cryosurgery opening in the official trailer, this footage just skipped straight to shaw wrenching up!

MemberOvomorphApr-10-2012 10:14 AMWell this is the wake up scene and I was actually hoping for this answer. I believed and still do that he was reading dreams sometime during the long flight. I think their was an interview with Damon Lindelof where he said David was active and wandering the ship at that time.
