MemberOvomorphApr-10-2012 10:14 AMHere is my take on how the last 7 minutes of Prometheus can be linked to Alien. It takes into account different planets, but not necessarily different ships.
Hence the derelict can be the ship we see in Prometheus.
After being rammed by the Prometheus and falling on the ground, the alien ship is somewhat damaged and can't perform an interstellar trip, its mobility being limited to short ranged trips (i.e. just interplanetary, moving from one moon to another).
On LV-223 there are no repairing facilities, but there's a good service station on LV-426, just a few light seconds away. The SJ brings the ship there and while it's being serviced, he goes to the diner and order some food for takeaway. Unbeknownst to the SJ, the diner is the same we see towards the end of Spaceballs, and the SJ happens to order the infamous "Day's Special".
He then gets back to his ship with his lunch, and the following events lead directly to Alien...
The acoustic beacon heard in Alien is actually a SJ rendition of "Hello my baby, hello my honey"...
Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born.
Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

MemberOvomorphApr-10-2012 11:28 AMOh, no!!! I am going to be sick!! We were wrong....we were SOOO wrong!!
I saw a deleted scene from that sequence that showed the diner alien eventually fully grown. It's too horrible they had to leave it on the cutting room floor. The first victim is treated to a fred Astaire dance sequence before being second-jawed through the head. (Not really....)

MemberOvomorphApr-10-2012 4:39 PMHey, you're hindering my career as an author! I was aiming to replace Damon Lindelof!
I don't appreciate that!
I hope I am right, soooo right!

MemberOvomorphApr-11-2012 2:45 AM....who ultimately gave "birth" to a xenomorph alien of the "extra fat" category...This guy was never picked by the other xenomorphs to be sent to Nostromo. He was told he would stuck on the air ventilator's corridors:)

MemberOvomorphApr-11-2012 5:21 AMThere are so much possibilities..we can see in the trailer at least 3 temples and hangars with possible derelicts on LV-223 ..so another derelict can start and land on LV-426, too..
