I believe you are correct! Ridley is too much of a master in film to give away the "money shot" (lol) if you will.

It's inconceivable that we'd see any hint of that scene before plopping down in the theater seats. "Inconceivable!"

Yes, the snippet of Shaw in the med thing has spawned a lot of talk of it being that sequence, but I think this is a deliberately misleading move. The money shot may be something different, hopefully.

Hard to imagine something as horrifying as giving yourself a c-section, so I'm going to say that is the scene. I mean, everything that people think it is, has been extrapolated by freeze framing the entirety of the trailer. Maybe the actual horrifying part is not the surgery at all, but rather, what happens immediately afterward. No idea how she escapes that predicament.

Or maybe what happens prior.... Remember the scene with the Tenticle hunting Shaw, well she is in her Space Suit in that scene. So does she get the creature C-Sectioned out of her, then run off while being chased by what? Then get changed into her suit? Or is she running off from the crew who was trying to hold her down, she then gets to the Med Table and removes the creature herself.... But then what of the scene of the Tenticle, and Shaw in a Suit? Shaw said the scene is disturbing and private, and Ridley says it would be shocking and embaracing. Is seeing a Squid being taken out via C-Section by a Robotic Med Table really as shocking as the Chest Burster scene in Alien? Is it embaracing at all? Also dont forget Ridley says this movie will show how the Xenos Mother met the Father. I maybe wrong but Tenticle making out with Shaw that gets her Pregnant would be shocking and embaracing.

@BigDave I don't think Shaw pulls it out of herself. It's being introduced INTO her. Remember that scene from the first trailer where there's a *shrieking* upside-down Shaw screaming "PLEASE!!!" ? She's begging someone not to do whatever life-threatening naughtiness they are up to. Me Thinks David 8 is impregnating her with worm thingy. In the UK trailer we see the hook that was holding the creature whisk down the medpad between someone's legs. So it's empty [i]while leaving the subject[/I]
