There are so many posibilities and think Ridley is gonna go for something thats not so straight forwards. Some dont agree but i think the Space Jockey in Alien was a Space Suit and that the Blue Guy sits in the Pilot Chair sticks the Helmet on and then attaches to the Chair. The Derelict Ship is the same kind, but we dont know if the one in the movie actually lands on LV426. The Space Jockey by some has been thought to be the Worm Things that change a persons DNA to become a Jockey, some think that David Becomes the Jockey, and as you just said maybe Weyland could be the Jockey. I would not like to think of the Jockey as being transformed from one of the crew or a Human... I would say they would be as Gods in many Ancient Civilisations i.e Anunaki or Titans. Thus Humaniod just double the height. Your theory could hold some weight with regards to that one Scene where one aproaches Shaw. As that Jockey apears to be much smaller than 10ft. Ridley and other Production crew had descriped the Jockey as being 9ft some other reports 12ft, the one in Alien was said to be 15ft, but when i estimated the Chair to be 16ft the Jockey could be about 13ft. If the Chair in this movie is same size the Jockey in this movie would apear to be 9ft odd. But then the one in that one scene does not look any taller than 7ft. We dont know the order of how the scenes in the Trailers and Images on the net will apear in the movie, we dont know how much stuff as not been shown in the Trailers. I am expecting something pretty bizare as far as the plot. I do have a feeling that the creation of the Xeno in Alien comes from Human interaction, with the Pilot and using the Fire (Organism etc) against him.
