Alien/Prometheus

i too have been wondering about that i haven't heard anything here on the west coast (USA), i do WISH they that would happen. i have never seen ALIEN in a theater before (only VHS tapes / Laser disc) so this would satisfy both my desire to finally see ALIEN on a large screen, as well as my unwavering desire to see PROMETHEUS a PROMETHEUS / ALIEN double feature after the fact would be AWESOME.

I haven't heard of any planned, but its not to say that a theatre couldn't knock out the Alien part between now and then. As far as opening night is concerned, I think most folks will want to het Prometheus rolling right away. Now a Prometheus/Alien double feature (Prometheus first, Alien second) would be awesome!!!

When Return of the King came,a couple theatres in Chicago showed the first 2 the night before starting at 6 pm,then at12:01 of opening day ran the midnight show.that would be awesome start Alien at 10 pm or so and go into Prometheus 12:01

Check out your nearest imax cinema Every now and then they do classic film all nighters, showing all terminator movies, lord of the rings and maybe alien movies. Lord of the rings is i think from 11:00pm to 6:00am lol

Two different MPAA ratings would make that a limiting factor, as would a weak segue between the two films (not a problem for an independent movie theatre/movie buffs, but cineplexes play to different rules / the masses)
