Interesting Image i never seen much before.

That room Dave is the Hologram room I reckon ... I'm going by the door shape and the RAMP that's dead opposite and she's kneeling upon ... this image is also reversed (swapped round) in some of the magazine articles ;) ...

the more i see picts of prometheus the more it looks like a remake of planet of the vampires.. ( wich is not a bad thing) even the spacesuits look alike!!

If there is any "Teen Angst" what so ever in this film and especially over "The Tragic and Difficult Life of a Vampire Race" I will in fact be a bit disappointed...LMAO. also I find it STAGGERING that there is a breathable Earth type atmosphere in there trust worthy enough at a moments instrumental reading to permit the crew to remove their helmets, all the same if it were me knowing this info..There's NO WAY in hell I am taking off that space helmet.

Yes maybe it could be the room with the Star Map, just because we see David in their alone does not mean that Shaw is not in their aswell. Now playing Sherlock again this has got me joining up clues... This scene may be after the one where Shaw is in that corridor with the SJ suits on the Wall. She could be looking at David as he opens a Door that leads to the Star Map Room. She then sits down and talks to David about what they have found. David then sets off the Star Map, finds out about the Earth etc. In one scene we see the Space Jockey walking in back ground as David is pre occupied with the Star Chart. Where is Shaw at this time, if she is in the room at the start with David, maybe she wonders off somewhere and does not notice the Space Jockey. Maybe this image above and the one with Shaw infront of the SJ suits are scenes near each other, that leads to the David in star chart Room with SJ walking up to him scene. Maybe it attacks David which is when Shaw does a runner, and thus leads to the "we was so wrong scene" Who knows? I cant wait to find out the answers.

Oh regarding the Planet of the Vampires i have never seen that movie, i will have a look at getting it. But i notice a few things... that do look like a cross between this movie and Alien.... maybe Ridley like Lucas had a idea of how the Alien movie came to be along time before Aliens etc. Like how Lucas must have had the ideas for SW EP1-3 before 4-6 thus many touches and mentions like the clone wars in EP 4. could Ridley had taken influence from Planet of the Vampires? The space suits look simular, they look more like POV than the Alien ones. Maybe like the above teh Space Jockey are trying to get to Earth, but some how their ship is sabataged and damaged and can only make it as far as LV426[/b] In Planet of the Vampires, the Aurans infect the humans so they die, so as that when they are dead the Aurans can use their boddies, as the Auran race is dying/dead and they need Humans so they can live on. Maybe thats why the Space Jockey need Humans in Prometheus, maybe this could point to the Space Jockeys being whats in the Urns or the actual Worms themselves. The movie POV also starts off as having two craft on a mission.... "Two huge interplanetary ships on an expedition into deep uncharted space receive a distress signal emanating from Aura, an unexplored planet. Both ships, the Galliott and the Argos" Could this be simular to the Project Prometheus as dont forget that Prometheus ship is not the only once launched under the Prometheus project/mission another ship went on a mission many years prior. Did that ship have Weyland on? Did Weyland become the first victim of the Alien DNA/Bio Form that is the Space Jockeys? Could it be that Weyland is thus the Space Jockey in this movie. Maybe i am reading into the plot of Planet of the Vampires and comparing it to maybe getting some answers to Prometheus... Maybe there is nothing to it and no connection/influence? Maybe just a suptile one such as Alien, has a crashed ship with large skeletal remains of a Alien being and a distress signal that gets Humans to land on the planet and vistit said ship....

Shaw could be on the ramp to the turntable (SJ chair area) as previously mentioned. But what if she's near the platforms that contained the SJ statues (or suits), like before in that hallway shot of her. Notice anything missing from the platform next to her? Could spell trouble.

movie makers can superimose images over each other. The water fall scence may be another example. We dont know if this is strictly for marketing or an actual shot from the final movie cut. We wont know until...

Yeah those two images of shaw are linked together, i would image the one with the SJs Suits in back ground is before the one where she kneels on something near a controll room or something. so what if that scene shows her face as a Door opens or she first spots the Room with the Star Map etc, then she goes into that room with David and thus we get the other shot in this thread. David activates the Star Map and one of those SJ suits in the halls leading to that room, comes to life. takes off its mask and then comes into the Star Map Room?

I think both shots of Rapace are posed, promotional images, not frame captures from the film itself. It is funny how similar the suits are, right down to the red piping.

Shaw wears the "survival suit" with orange piping. To her left, we see the "goody bag" that many before me have suggested contains something stolen from the Engineers by Prometheus crew. In the UK trailer, we see Shaw jump from a ship (escape pod?) exit holding the "goody bag". I suggest this scene shows Shaw on her way to unmake a mistake, post "Prometheus" destruction...
