If a very old.frail Peter Weyland is maybe aboard Prometheus on it's long ,uber- expensive and potentially dangerous voyage. What would be his incentive for going in the first place? Surely not a few cave painting images. He perhaps (and the Company) has more information .What's the end-game?

If this mission is, as it seems to indicate in the trailers, a journey to find the beginnings of humanity, then if I we're Weyland, the financier of all this, I'd certainly be on that ship hoping to find the "fountain of youth", so to speak.

makes sense, perfect sense but I think he in the end will end up being just another meal. Like the rest of them.

Probably the same reason that keeps people the likes of Dick Cheney desperately wanting to prolong their lives. Despite the fact people like this may have thought themselves invincible at some point in their life (with their untold fortunes).. in the end, they all fall, and no amount of money in the world will save them. It didn't help Apple's Steve Jobs. And now multi-billionaire Warren Buffet has disclosed that he apparently has cancer as well.

They really are stepping up the "meal scenes" in this anthology. Alien: 5 meals (can't count Kane) Aliens: 1 to 1.5 dozen meals (estimating the amount of marines) + what was it? 70 families? But we don't see those so no "meal scene" credit. Alien3: 24? 25 Double-Y-ers (whatever that means), minus the 1 that WT takes back. AlienR: Well more than 30 AlienPro: Hopefully a good 40+ meals
