in a scene of the trailer you can see someone firing a very common firearm. a pistol not a rifle. I side with shardy. ALIENS is very loud and it's first mistake was to ignore Giger and change the creature

at 2:03 of the uk trailer they are shooting with sidearms, not very sofisticated

They are not marines ergo side arms not assault weapons, they are not assaulting the planet its for personal defense. I think people could be original, look at Christopher Nolan, he works his ass off to be original and not to talk down to his audience he treats you with respect, the exact opposite is Micheal Bay. Both make very watchable movies but if you want substance you go with Nolan Ridley Scott works hard on saving money to use in more important areas and he knows how to direct people, which a lot of directors have no fucking idea how too, George Lucas and M Knight Shalydouche both fucking fail at directing people, Ridley will push people and give them what they need to do a good job James Cameron like to yell at you untill you get it right lol People need more faith in a man who has 2 movies that have been stored away forever for "Cultural Significance" and worry less about what fucking gun people are holding, (Gun kill person) thats all you need to know

Excuse me Grindolf. I thought we where dissecting what has been given to us and since the post is about weapons I wanted to point this out. But maybe you know something that we don't. Besides I don't think they are all scientists. They must have taken some military personel. Fifield looks like a soldier to me. And yes, I think pulse rifles suck

yet we can see a guy/creature with fire in it's back kicking ass and jumping from a vehicle. People say its fifield because of his hairstyle. I hope that the characters don't get infected and turn into the space jockeys please

I never felt Aliens was that bad of a movie. Cameron well brilliant in his own way with many huge awesome sci-fi's to his credit could not do what Ridley originally created. Aliens had a great cast and good writing. "hey, you remember that arturian poontang, the one you had was male, hey it doesn't matter when it's arturian". It had lots of suspense and enough action to rival most. Out of all the Alien sequels this one wins the silver medal. Especially, the directors cut with sentry guns in the hallway and extra scenes. The loader added to the website along with the M4A1pulse rifle are likely there to throw us off as I dont see them having any bearing once so ever on Prometheus. They are likely updating the site with products owned or used by weyland/yutani industries to refresh peoples minds. Not everyone is a diehard. IMO, they are going to build this movie into a sequel/s. They always have and always will and the only thing that matters is who continues to direct and produce it.

I was hoping to see some classic chromed out Sci-fi rapid fire laser guns but hey no problem. Some really scarey none-human extraterrestrial space snakes will make up for it.
