Xenomorph suit, worst to best.

so i decided to start a thread counting down the xenomorph suits from all the movies, from worst to best then in the comments everyone can make there list :) this list is based on the suit/animatronic itself, not how it acts in the movie, so acting like insects in aliens or anything else like that will have no effect on this list, also this is just for full grown xenos, chest bursters and face huggers will not be on this list (maybe for another time) so here we go: 11.) the new born, this is my least favorite in the entire series. its not BAD necessarily, it looks good, the animatronics are good but it just feels wrong.. i feel like this should have been in a completely other movie series, it has no place in alien. also as you can see in the pic below, it had both genitalia until the removed it digitally, thank god. [img]http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l59i62yPdg1qa1o5zo1_500.jpg[/img] 9.)the resurrection warrier, by far the worst of the regular xenos we see in the films, it is a bad redo of gigers work, now fully striped of its bio-mechanical look, this alien now has the texture of a warty toad. as giger describes it, it looks like they just threw mud on it. amen brother, amen... i hate this one more then 11 and 10 actually, but they fell first because of there miss placement in the alien series all together. [img]http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f291/sabres21768/100_6030-1.jpg[/img] 8.)the AVP warrior, not much to say about this one, its actually the same one from resurrection, they used the same casts, but i like it better because at least this time they painted it black, not poop brown. [img]http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20060320202655/aliens/images/6/69/AVP_Xenomorph.jpg[/img] 7.)AVP queen, this one is actually ok, but it feels.... off. i dont think i can describe why i dont like it like the original queen, but it just doesn't look right, they changed it somehow.... [img]http://images.wikia.com/avp/images/a/a1/Promo08.jpg[/img] 6.)alien 3 runner, this is a cool one, and the first alien to bring the idea of traits from its hosts idea to the screen, but falls short on the list because of the same warty texture as the resurrection aliens, it had the shape, but the texture was off. [img]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HtxPTAetMNE/TML8BoDwg0I/AAAAAAAAAAs/wq7U7ej6bN0/s1600/Alien+Runner.jpg[/img] 5.)AVP R, i like this one, the movie was shit, but i like the look of the aliens in this one, they are still fleshy but in a different way, better then the resurrection ones [img]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-49VFNmecZ8o/TzbnQwm_OkI/AAAAAAAAA6E/eZgB-jS5PoY/s1600/AlienavPRheadfullside.jpg[/img] 4.)aliens warrior, ok now we are talking. i love these, they are more or less recreations of the original giger alien, the biggest difference being the dome but the new dome works for the action feel of the movie, idk why but it makes them look more like warriors, the one thing that they lack though is the good quality, in the movie they look great but behind the scenes you can see they are probably the cheapest looking, but that was because they had such a high number to make, and they had to be flexible for the stunt men but still they do look great in the film :) [img]http://www.yourprops.com/movieprops/original/46259a0f346d2/Aliens-1986-costumes-wardrobe.jpg[/img] 3.)aliens queen, unlike the warriors the alien queen was made top notch, still the best queen in the series it pulls it off by switching out between a full sized puppet to a highly detailed small scale model. still amazing effects to this day. [img]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_xeOzo0Axgj0/TQqeZtwKgCI/AAAAAAAAB6A/1tOCnkiVKms/s600/img-mft_alien_queen_04.jpg[/img] 2.) the original giger alien, still the best of all the movie aliens, i still stand by the fact that this suit was not built, it was grown from real organic and mechanical materials, including bones. not to mention the haunting skull in the front that all the other suits are sadly lacking, by far the best movie monster of all time (in my opinion) [img]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7HTO3jP-_lk/Sh9ssZLuALI/AAAAAAAACyo/Sc2G6YHfbEI/s400/Alien+costume.jpg[/img] 1.) now what can beat that you ask? well in my opinion the biggest mistakes in monster history, gigers unused concept for the alien in alien 3, while a quick glance will look the same as the one from the movie, a closer look will show you that on top of keeping the bio tech look, giger went all out bringing a more stream lined version of his original beast, with a new tongue, saw shoulder blades, finger brains, and erotic lips, this is by far the coolest alien of all time.
