New International trailer - initial thoughts and reaction

I think it may have given a little bit too much of the meatier scenes away. I for one enjoyed the second guessing about the snake scene, who got attacked (which I worked out was Milburn) and what it actually was. This scene has been kind given away now. It's filled in a few blanks from all the speculation as well, where I think assumptions have gone from being 50% to 95% accurate now. What does everyone else think that's feverishly followed it inside and out? Has some of the mystique gone? Was this trailer a little too laymans terms for the wider public?

I quite liked it, it answered a few more questions for the hardcore fans. I really hope the general public enjoy it.

No it's not been spoiled at all - I'm just desperate to see it now! They always said there would be several creatures in the plot, the big reveal will come on June 1st at my IMAX!! Vickers looks like the superbitch we want her to be - she might turn out to have a MASSIVE significance in this :)

A lot of repetition from the previous trailers, but the new clips give the impression of Prometheus as a quite agressive and nasty film. The trailers slowly build and enhance anticipation, but I don´t feel like being shown too much. I think that the real plot is such an unimaginable mindf..... that they could show a lot more, and still not reveal the big secret. Frame 2.33 looks very disturbing.

From following all previous trailers, this one for me has just put a big old smile across my face. Up until now there I had not really seen anything that points in the direction of this having some serious horror content. If anything this has increased my anticipation. As for losing any mystique, IMO its added something. I just hope that it has'nt given too much away though, but i like what I've seen.

Personally, I didn't like the "pink" cobra, however I won't dissmiss it; as just another "bug"; let's wait to see what happens to the person it attacks and the context of the whole scene. Thes rest is mind boggling, I mean there is a lot of stuff to digest. SO far with all the trailers we've seen like 3% of the movie at the most. Just imagine what does the full film will show that is so secret. Definitely one part of me wants to stop seeing more... and the other begs for even 1 more minute....... PLEASE JUST RELEASE IT A MONTH EARLIER....PLEASE!!!

I'm confident that, even if Sir Ridley shows us a 7 headed dragon in one of the trailers, there will be a bigger more top-secret reveal in the movie.

Yes it will spoil or at least give away more of the unanswered questions for fans like us and Alien fanboys who may not want to had seen too much revealed. This trailer is maybe also mainly to attract the mainstream potential viewers those who may not just go to see a movie because its based on Alien or in same Universe etc.

I'm ecstatic, filled with adrenalin. Tears? This might be the coolest film in years. The trailer was only half through and I couldn't believe there was another minute, even more. And to think there is another two hours yet to take in. This is intense stuff: body horror, creature horror, absolute SF. I think an R rating has been embraced, maybe even welcomed. This film is going to be sold out at the IMAX for weeks.

It seems like every time a new crop of questions pops up from the last trailers, there is a new trailer to answers many of those specific questions. It's uncanny, actually.
