Its not Guy Pearce, its some other actor. Maybe it represents another driod but i doubt it, i think its just another member of the crew but not one of the main ones. So i take it he becomes cannon fodder shortly after.

The old guys is either Weyland or a different mutated crew member.

I think this scene is when Fifield goes berserk and attacks the crew in the Cargo Bay. I would say its melted mask guy, who wen you see him hold his face has no tear in the arm and thus not Milburn (who gets the Cobra Eel treatment). I would say he and Holloway survive but are somewhat infected and the exploring crew rush back to get them back for medical help. A groggy Fifield is helped up first as the most serious case, but by the time he gets up the ramp and sees our mystery crew member in the silver suit, he then goes nuts and attacks and then he gets owned by the crew. After the comotion i think Holloway outside holds his hands up to Vickers to imply "look thats not happening to me i am ok"
