Has it been considered that the reason for the "Blue" guys is that the mutated crew members are blue because their suits are blue, and that the tar like goop fuses the humans with the suits during transformation? kinda using the suit, or whatever it wouldve been able to find, as spare parts in turning them into something much more evolved. after all, the whole idea of this discovery is supposed to revolve around highly advanced "bio-mechanics", "bio-mechanoid" technology, etc...and the crew are wearing some pretty high tech, blue suits. the scene in the newest trailer certainly looks like that guys helmet is getting fused together with his face.

Hiya (first sorry if i offend i bean drinking and consumed over 25 units of booze on empty stomach). But i think by Bio Mechnoid they mean that they some how combine Biology with Technolgy a long time before the crew of Prometheus come along. The Blue Guy well Grey Guy, i do think is the Space Jockey Why? 1) Before even Alien 3 was made Ridley said that the Space Jockey was a Space Suit. 2) You can see what apears to be the mask attached to the Pilot Chair. 3) The Blue Guy is shown walking to the Pilot Chair, but also 3-4 others apear as Holograms with no Helmets. Yet we also see at least 3 Hologram Jockeys running through the corridoors with masks on. 4) The one scene where something (Corbra Khan) jumps out of the Helmet in the freeze frames you can make out a humaniod face like the Head Statue. I think all point to the Space Jockey being a Space Suit. When you add that to the majority of Ancient Civilisations beleafs inc Greek (Titans) bieng large Humaniods. Well thats what i think the Jockey is. But i dont think we can rule out that the Jockey need our boddies to regenerate their race. So while i dont think so, we cant rule out the Space Jockey being created from Humans. There are two scenes where the Jockey does not look over 7ft tall, the Shaw scene and the one that the built in HUD Camera of one of the crew film on the floor. So what, does Holloway, David or Weyland become a Space Jockey? i dont know but i doubt it, i would assume they are just alread a large 9-10ft tall Humaniod Race. PS... Sorry if some stuff dont make sence, i been on the lash and had 5 Beers and 5 Ciders ;)
