Yes the hooded guy posted in a thread the other day. Its the Water Fall thats in that one scene but as of yet is that shot in the above feature really a shot from the movie, i mean are we going to see some one in a robe walking at the top of the Water Fall? Who knows. I have found some clues to the Jockeys though, the Cast lists 3 actors playing them, now two actors are over 7ft but one is smaller like under 6ft or maybe about 6ft. I thought thats odd, how they going to pull that off if they have all 3 in same shot? Maybe that explains the smaller Jockey near Shaw at the End? But after reading the french Magazine thread just posted a short while back, it does seem they use another actor for shots when the Jockey is on his own and also for facial shots. This small Engineer actor is Daniel James who plays Zoot in the TV series The Tribe and guess what, he looks near enough spot on to the Statue Head where as the 7ft actors dont, and guess what he also has the same ears as the Blue Guy at the Water Fall Scene.

Cloaked space jockey from the creation of earth sequence. I remember a guy a LONG time ago talk about a test trailer he saw and he described cloaked space jockeys beside a waterfall. Nobody believed him. But I think he also quoted the line David says, "big things have small beginnings". Looks like he was right...

Yeah not so sure about being cloaked though. I think we have the Hologram/Ghost recordings/images that the Jockies in the Star Map Room with David and then the ones running away or towards something. I think there will be another 2 scenes with the Bio Engineers where they wont be holograms but we will see actual footage but it wont be in relation to the timeframe Prometheus is on LV233, they would be like a Narative but a Visual one. By that unlike Shaws Dream, i think they would be things that happen that the crew dont see, maybe get told about or maybe one of the crew or David are passed them as a vision. I would image these to be 1) Water Fall/Saucer Scene and 2) Derelict Mission that end on LV426 scene. By that i dont think the Derelict that Prometheus crashes into land on LV426, i thus think the Derelict on LV426 has been there for hundreds if not thousands of years prior to 2090's Prometheus mission and thus the Xeno Organism was created before the events of this movie and so not directly connected to any event in this movie regarding the contact with the crew, the Engineers, the Urns or the Organisms in this movie inc Shaws Baby. These are things Ridley could explore in a sequel. I could be wrong mind, but then that would explain a number of things, inc differences inside the Derelicts, the Xeno Mural. Maybe the Urns (maybe they figured that Urns are safer way to store Organisms than other methods they used earlier on i.e Eggs). Thus i dont think the Prometheus mission connects to the events of Alien, but the events leading to Alien are connected with the reasons the Engineer race look like they had been nearly wiped out.

Sorry, I meant "hooded" space jockeys, not "cloaked".

He means cloaked, as in wearing a long, dark cloak......not invisibility.

yeah i think this is the mutating blue guy right after that shot of him looking at his hand, i don't think he is hooded, i think that's just what it looks like from the way he is moving.

@artyoh Damn Star Trek.... i will always now get that term mixed up with cloaking devices. Thank god i am not at School, as the tought of going to the cloak room would make me think "no miss i dont want to disapear or be invisable" So yes cloak as in worn cloak is what that scene looks like, and i take it your friend is telling the truth which means indeed that actually cloaked guy will apear in the movie.

I think he's an outcast....thus the name 'Sacrifice Engineer'... And yes we know it's the 'Sacrifice Engineer' cuz we know he's played my Daniel James and in the French magazine interview where the two special FX guys are interviewed they make reference to Daniel James being used for scenes involving Engineers not standing next to human characters and being naked.... The pieces to the puzzle is all over this damn site, lol

I know sorry lol... I never read his name mentioned in the Magazine thread, i did have a look on Google when i found the Cast List, and thus concluded about him being the face of the Engineer. I think the term Sacrifice has a massive importance, does that make him the Prometheus? What was his Sacrifice or could that also mean Punishment? Well with that Water Fall scene, is the guy getting punished or is he being created from something? I guess the Sacrifice would explain maybe the Statue its made to honour the Sacrifice that one Engineer made, maybe thats why the face on the Statue looks how it does. The only other Sacrifice i could think off could be potentially that he is the Pilot of the Derelict that landed on LV426 with that Cargo of Eggs as he was taking them to be Quarantined away from LV223? Then again looking at Gigers Alien Cycle we do see as if one Engineer is laying down while another is opening the Egg, so maybe this means the Engineer Sacrificed himself for the creation of the Xeno. who knows as always so many possibilities and theories and maybe none correct lol. One things for sure this is a hard game of Cluedo ;)

@BigDave I think an awful lot of us geeks tend to subconsciously think "device" whenever we see "cloaked" or "cloaking." ;-)

lol Good job this was not a Star Wars Forum and someone was on about the cloaks worn by The Emperior etc.... And i then mentioned by mistake cloaking devices.... You know what some Trekkies and Star Wars fans can be like (lol like in Fanboys). Me i like both franchises..... But some can be particular.... my brothers mate is looking forwards to Batmans new movie, but he hates Marvel movies he would watch Iron Man he likes that, he thinks X-Men is ok but he refuses to see any other Marvel Movie especially Hulk who he think is silly creation.... Then again if he is Pro DC i guess we could say the same for Super Man lol. He loved Green Lanturn but says Captain America is a bit unreal lol....

I'm a Star Trek fan. I remember watching "The Cage" when it originally aired, and that was all it took........but some fans are just plain crackers. You should have read all the sturm and drang over the latest movie, on some of the boards.......when geekdom approaches religious fervor, it's time to back off......way off. No, "Alien" geeks aren't even in the same league.
