IMPROBABLE!!!!!!

For my understanding biomechanical is the tag line that has been constantly used to describe the advance race of beings whom created us. Now from the information and depiction that has been set from the previous movie series, the androids are synthetic not mechanical. Just a thought!!!!

My thinking is that David is already Bio-mechanical just not to the level of the Jockeys. He is synthetic life so a made creature. The Jockeys would do the same but the line between the parts which are organic and the parts which are machine would not exist. David will be made from components but its conceivable that with time the components would get smaller and smaller to the point where individual cells are in fact little machines that function exactly like an organic cell. The final stage would be mechanical DNA i guess and that is probably where the Jockeys are at. Machine that can reproduce have to feed themselves which is kind of the Xenos.
David may very well end up as a SJ because he is part way there already.
the term Biomechanical is possibly not sufficient to express what the jockeys do just the nearest thing we have. If your society is millions of years old then you, your ships, your buildings and technology may all be one and the same. It would be like explaining a pacemaker to a caveman there just isnt any common ground.

It doesn't really fit for anyone to become an engineer. However, at least a couple mutations happen. Maybe Weyland in a long shot story-wise. It would be more fitting if he turned into something entirely different and more monstrous as his punishment for trying to be a God and meddling with DNA. We know there will be various forms of life and biomechanoids, so yeah I'm thinking some of the crew will mutate or get morphed into various different mutants and monsters that we've never seen before but may look somewhat familiar. The two synthetics might even find their mutation not so bad if infected by the biomechanoid. Maybe only a partial transformation, as the alien tried to convert the synthetic parts it perceives as real. It could actually allow them to fight off the giant, the mutants, and the monsters for a little while as the synthetic retains control of the mutation. However, I'm now pretty sure the last Engineer is a completely different being, already there, that they wake up.

Thats right Jonesy. The mechanical DNA is already present within David8 to evolve into whatever surrounding conditions dictate. And if he is infected and manipulated by the super-goo, no telling what would come out. Xenos, or worse.

I dont think the Engineers are Bio Mechanical themselves, they have just created a technology or material that is Bio Mechanical.
My theory is this.....
A snakes is living, so is a Aligator, its skin protects it and has many functions it lives and is part of the creature.
Man uses Snakes skin and Aligators to make Bags, Shoes, Jackets that when worn and used are just dead peices of skin, they are not living they are worn by us but they do not become one with us like they was from the creature they was taken from.
A Tree is a living orgnanism to some point, its grows and produces seed, flowers, fruits etc. It is alive.
A woden boat, a canoe are not alive the Wood taken from the living tree to make them is no longer alive its dead like the snake skin.
Now the Engineers have a technology where their clothing, the skin that they wear and the ships that they fly are living.
Imagine a Noahs Ark where the Wood is not dead, it is as alive as the Tree.
Imagine a jacket or a suit made from Animal skin that when you where it, it becomes a part of you just as it was with the orginal creature it came from.
Thats what i think about their tech.
I dont think that the crew will get changed into them, i 100% dont think any Andiods can be.
But then again maybe Ridley and especially that Lost writter is going to throw a curveball and we will see strange things that defy the most logical explanation.
