I'm trying to watch and I just can't. That weirdo scientist was just licking the alien container like he was sucking face with the alien. I think if given more money this film would have Xeon fellatio. Omg Turn it off turn it off!

Visually ill give it that it looks very good. the sets were great and the practical effects were good. the problem with this film is the direcor. Jean-Pierre Jeunet is very talented at what he does. Delicatessen, City of Lost Children, Amelie are very good examples of his talent. His ability to create quirky and often 'weird' moods for film is interesting to watch However 'quirky' often sarcastic humor does not play part and should never play part in the alien universe. He doesnt do horror well at all and the script was awful..... Example: ripley discovers the laboratory with all the experiments all deformed attempts to ressurect her. A clearly very powerful scene very emotional for Ripleys character. She burns down the entire lab nearly bawling her eyes out. Then Ron pearlman walks into the camera and says "women" (sarcasm) WHY WOULD YOU RUIN A GOOD SCENE Its these situations that lead me to agree with NATE that Alien Resurrection does in fact suck major Xenomorph penis

I'll admit it! I like All..... ALL ALIEN MOVIES.. yep, I'll watch'em all.. all of them that is.

If you're really into the character of Ripley, i say do it. Her character development (which was actually nice; the only good thing about the movie) would be the only reason you'd want to watch it. Other than that.... Hell-f**k no. They even got the guy who played the dad in Night at The Roxbury... WTF were they thinking?

I don't mind A4 that much, except for the Alien hybrid baby at the end. the tone and look of the film were on the money but the story veered away from the core of Alien, and that's about Weyland-Yutani being the greedy, corporate entity we've all come to know and love. changing WY to the United Systems Military was a bad error on Joss Whedon's part. Alien 3 sucked far worse than A4 did imo

"Alien 3 sucked far worse than A4 did imo" ... really ??? ... ;) I actually liked Alien3 better ... that stupid f*ck at the end ruined it for me ... everything else I can handle but that Human/Alien was pony ... and I only really liked Alien 4 because of Ron Perlman ;) ... the blokes great ...

It's 4:30 in the afternoon I am having a stiff drink and watching the end of Alien 4. Let me just say this is the most awesome spectacle of science fiction I have ever witnessed anywhere. The Alien had a chestburster. That just blows my mind. Will Prometheus be better than this?

I went to see this in the cinema when it was out. It's the only film I've ever walked out of in my life. Bloody awful and hugely disappointing.

I thought Alien 3 was bad... It's the next morning I'm sober and it still sucked. I'm sorry but in MY Alien universe anything past the first half of 'Aliens' is not Canon. The two stories diverge after James Cameron reveals his creature to me not much more than a giant insect. I have lamented over this fact before, in other threads. Neither H.R. Giger, Ridley Scott nor anyone involved in the original Alien film ever intended original alien's life cycle to resemble that of a bug.
