@DAVROS59
that was cool....I think corn flour is what americans call corn starch...in high school science lab, we made this...the teacher called it ooblick....it has some cool properties, it runs and flows like a liquid, but you can lift the edge of the puddle and it literally breaks like a solid...too cool....thanks for sharing, I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Yeah, you just have to love Fry. There are so many different facets to him, being an actor, writer, host, presenter and comedian. He's a truly complex individual. But DAVROS59, I can't see how QI is geeky!? He's gathering Britain's top comedians around him to take exactly that factor out of the otherwise rather factual show, quite successfully, in my opinion...
Anyway, still slightly off topic but related to Fry's work here's a little bit of harmless Saturday morning fun. See for yourself what can happen when you go out to explore rare species on foreign soil: Shagged by a rare parrot - Last Chance To See on BBC 2 in New Zealand.

Is this posted here because it looks just like the stuff on top of the urn? is this how they did the special effect?

@Shawluv:D: yep, that's the idea but I think it was posted before in a number of different threads, so this one went slightly off the rail.

I have seen far worse hijacking of threads than this one. And it's like I said, it was meant for a bit of harmless Saturday morning fun... 'Slightly' was used there deliberately.

I have more posts than most (well at least the average) members and have only ever started one topic (the one collecting Prometheus Parody Videos) which means I squeeze whatever I have to say into a thread that fits as close as possible without trying to hijack it. I find constant thread starting to be a sign of vanity. Something that I'm not afflicted with.
