....Let us hope there aren't any commercial adverts in Prometheus for any big companies/industries (apart from the fictional Weyland Industries and Cobrahugger Temple Security Systems Ltd) like Gap,Coca- Cola,Nokia etc,etc.Hope Ridely isn't pressurised by the Fox fat-cat accountants to do so.If there is, i'm going to gather a baying mob armed with flaming torches and pitchforks to chase and capture Mr Scott and give him a damn good thrashing with his own shoes and cigars.If not,i would give this genius film-maker an Academy Award.Thoughts......

It's hard to see what products could possibly be made to look relevant. Bug spray?:-) Seriously, I'd think Sir Ridley would know product placement would ruin the atmosphere.

Didn't Verizon do something Prometheus related...Some sort of sweepstakes/game? I think we will see their logo at least once...Like early in the movie when Shaw or Holloway pull out the Verizon holo-phone.

Verizon. It has already happened. But at least it is just the marketing and not in the movie. Or maybe not. We'll see. Either way, it may be sad, but I've reconciled myself to seeing some kind of placement in any movie I watch. I mean Martin Scorcese directed a movie advert for American Express or something with De Niro. Hey, at least artists don't have to appeal to the king for patronage.
