I like that big phat "R" for sure!
Captain Obvious would say: seeing a good, uncut film would make my wallet happy! Duh!
Jaws was rated R, Alien was rated R... Scream was pg13.
Money... CREAM

It was inevitable.
This film can ONLY reach its full potential with an R in the US.

Not really a surprise. Glad to see it practically official, though. PG13? Yeah, right. PG13 is a step above PG, which is a half-step up from the cute n cuddly G.
If not R, then PG 14, if ANYTHING. But, yeah, with all the organic messyness, it was bound to be rated R.
Not just that, but i believe that type of content is definitive for Prometheus. I can't see someone getting their cage ripped off by an Engineer, and the scene not being gruesome.
Hopefully the Engineers do some damage too, not just their toys n pets. MMMMMUAHAHAHA-HAAAAAAAA!...

Jaws was 14+ in Quebec and a lot of other places as well...I was 13 and had to wear cowboy boots with hockey pucks in the me to look bigger at the ticket window.

Hope it stays R.. I will love that so much more and will definitely see it on the big screen along with many of my friends/family members. None of us are interested in going and seeing it if its anything less.

I do hope is R rated for you guys.
In Portugal R rated is set as M18 [for above 18 years old of age vewers]. But people really don't give a damn and even small kids go watch those. Why bother? kids have a lot of imagination and Videogames are not all Tetris like.
We only know if the movie at the theatres was cut when we buy or rent the DVD/BR version of it.
The bloodier the marrier

Believe it or not the brats tend to behave properly [except if it is a Dragon Ball movie]
