It's rough but I'm with you...except on two points...SJ's are naive victims, just like humans..its the Baldies that run things...and Android goes ape on the surviving Baldie, alone on the planet. Earth ship comes to see what happened to their investment...no trace of Baldie village or Android, now superior to humans, Baldies, and me. by now one can deduce most of the plot. i don't think you are that far off of course they will go a bit more in depth my variation on yours is I think everyone falls in love with android and likes him android gets turned into a mess just like the printer from office space in case you didn't see, in the movie office space they totally thrash the office printer like gangland beat down and curb stomping i'm afraid david will be annihilated

Guillermo del Toro is probably spoilering a bit to save a project he was trying to develop, he is after all move director. The Space Jockeys are basically extinct and are the elder ones. The aliens in all their variations are the shoggoth. The humans and androids are the Antarctic expedition. That's probably the plot of the movie a variation on Mountains of Madness. Likely good fun none the less.

The baldies - I've heard a lot about them on various threads, but they're still a mystery to me. I've read several theories, including one which stated the he was simply an infected Prometheus crew member. Either that, it's Captain Picard and his evil clone from Nemesis running around and reliving the good ol' days. Who knows. Anyhow, I appreciate the plot speculations. It'll be interesting to see how closely all of our predictions match the end product.

That reminds me, I posted the other day about speculations on the internet, and how I had read a very interesting plot synopsis posted by a blogger who believed she had figured out the film's storyline. Somebody then sent me a private message asking for the link to the blog. You'd know the guy if I gave you his screen name, but I want to be fair to the him, so I'm not going to mention it. At any rate, it really bugged me that he had to ask, because the guy's sole purpose for being on this site is to somehow find out the entire plot to the movie. We're all guilty of that to a certain degree, but this guy doesn't actually want to discuss the film intelligently. He just wants you to tell him what's going to happen so that he can get his kicks. So I sent him this link to a very "tongue in cheek" plot synopsis, just to kind of mess with him a bit. The plot synopsis was absurd, and I knew that. I never believed it, and I didn't expect him to either. Anyhow, he wrote me back this long essay debunking the synopsis, and essentially berated me for believing that it was true. Well of course it's NOT true, I said. It bugs me when people private message me for stuff like that, as if I'm the foremost authority on what internet blogs are factual or not factual. Let me just whip out my crystal ball.

azalard: Well, if someone tells me "hey, I know all about what is about to happen" I let that person amuse me with his/hers "insights". I honestly just care about peoples' imagination and the neetnes of their speculations, and don't mind much about "insights". So I do tend to stay focused on the imagination thingy going on and discard any other stuff unrelated. If you noticed, I came up with this Thread with some irony and light humour, since there seems to be a "who's going to be close enough for the actual thing" going on. For me, the movie will be the sole judge of events, everything else is just speculation. So, no need to be too serious about it.

yep, i think he'll be treated just the same way europe and america treated people for far too long, like he was somehow lesser, and his rights,emotions etc didn't need to be considered, maybe didn't even exist in the minds of the perpetrators. If the blueys treat us the same way white people treat people with a different skin tone, we are fucked.

My Theory answers and plans most movie out, it cant answer what happens to Shaws Baby, or if Shaw and Vickers Survive. I pose theories on Vickers being Andriod... but then most likely not. I have a theory on these plots... What happend to the Xeno, how was they created. Why the Derelict landed on LV426 and long time ago! What happened to the Jockeys..... AKA Blue Guy AKA Engineers. Why the Last Engineer is not a nice person. Weyland involement and ambition... There are some parts i a not so sure on, and thats what potentially the Mutants mutate to if they are not killed, what kills off most of the Crew and a few other bits and bobs. Anyone want to know send me PM... I Warn you the clues i put together could spoil the movie.. or could be wrong... and it will be a ESSAY.....
