I think that there's nothing sure b4 the Movie! Now every info can be fake and every pics/trailers could b' interpret wrong! (sorry for hard-core Aliens fans but : ) 4 Example: in trailers of "Predators", the character of Brody - Royce, was taken at gunpoint by 15 Yautja's 3-dotted red foresights; In the Movie, it was only 1 Predator!

Totally agree with you. I saw her in a Scottish film where she looks much more attractive. Maybe they're trying to portray science officers as plain? Don't know. How many scientists/archaeologists have you seen that look like Noomi Repace? I can tell you as someone who studied biology in college, not too many people looked like Repace OR Logan Marshall Green...I WISH!!

In between charlize and noomi, it hardly makes sense for me to look elsewhere, and yes ofcourse SJ and Aliens or whatever creepy that is.

In that article it says that her character is responsible for awakening the other crew members from hypersleep. That seems odd, doesnt david do it? That whole article seems full of bogus info actually. A bunch of skeleton creatures chasing around the crew for food...

I think this is a deceptively interesting observation, but a tricky one to comment on - the woman might read this. Leaving leaving any ungentlemanly comment on my personal perception of her attractiveness aside, she certainly has physical character - and she has what would broadly be Character, not Lead looks, lets face it: she's not Charlize - but it's worth pointing out that the most attractive are often a long, long way from actually being the sexiest: but's that's another story. What's most interesting about this observation, for me, is the choice in favour of character and also something else she has, which I really like for this entire cast: her age. They all seem very obviously in a reasonable 30 - 45 age range and to be playing their ages. I'm just relieved, for a subject like this, it's a cast that isn't full of attractive people who are probably excellent, but only nudging 25 - and having to speak in a way that most 25 year olds do not speak. Neither is there an obvious "youngster" that's going to require saving, or protection or, obviously be on a, "journey to adulthood", in the course of the Story... Similar to Alien, it's full of people who are [i]already[/i] now well settled into adulthood - with all the difficulty that process involves plainly evidenced on their faces, no matter how attractive they are. Personally, I like that.

Irishandroid, you're right, I personally think she's a hottie on some Googled pics, nice smile and lovely legs, but never seen her acting abilities yet. Same with Noomi Rapace, but from what I've heard about the latter in 'Dragon Tattoo' I trust she'll deliver big style. Despite my inital misgivings of her in this film, remembering Charlize's performance in 'Monster' seals the deal for me as far as she's concerned. Idris Elba in 'Luther' is phenomenal - why didn't they make his character South London? lol. But Kate Dickie - mmm, she's an enigma that's got me curiouser and curiouser...........

She looks awesome.....very understated, slim, piercing eyes, a look of intellect and a hint of naughtiness in there....They can dress her down compared to the leading ladies...but you can see she has great natural beauty. I think they've got a great looking cast....

you can remove the spoiler tag abordoli ...that news was surely fake ...apart many errors people have already saw 15 minutes of the movie ....and they werent neither arrived on the planet ..plus we see her in many scenes later ( hangar fight , attacked by something , around the head ) so there is no way she die after 28 min

Frantz is right. That article was based on the "leaked fake plot" (wrote by user robotpo), that stated her character name as "Mudow"

Mudow was the name used in that so called fake script. Also i thought it was David who was responsible for getting people to wake up from Cryo Sleep? 28 mins into the movie, i am not sure maybe 28 minutes into after they find the Temple. We do see her make it back with a infected Holloway as she and Shaw help keep him on his feet. I would assume the crew go back down a 2nd time and thats when it all kicks off and the Engineer decides to killer her.... but eat her thats interesting.

I couldn't recall the name of the film but Red Road was actually the one. Loved it....total mind f@ck!!

People with less pigment tend to show the aging process more than those of color....hence Scottish and Irish. 41 isn't old btw, I think she looks great! What's with the women tend to age quickly after 25? That's bloody insulting, seriously.

@BigDave And david is the one who awakes the crewembers. That article is fake because it was based on that so called leaked scrip, that stated her name as "Mudow" and said she was going to be eaten by skeletal monstrusities. It is very old (it's from September/October 2011) and it has lots of parts where you can note it's fake. It also states the android name as "David 4.0" (it was write before the name "David 8" was oficially leaked)

maybe it is fake but the recent french magazine spoke of the engineer(s?) waking from cryo sleep and suffering effects such as malnutrition maybe they got the character names wrong and such but did really talk to her i really think it's so hard to tell what is real and what is fake anymore with the smorgasbord of info for this movie the cast of this movie really is good IMO i'm sure they can make this enjoyable for us

i also don't know about "a host of skeletal monstrosities" from what I can tell I don't see that in the film that makes it sound like there is a whole bunch of creatures running around and not just a few as we've seen so far also 28 minutes in they are probably sitting around talking about star maps not being eaten

as far as i am concerned, she has the most interesting well proportioned beautiful features of all women in this movie. the page hairstyle underlines her fetishistic beauty. charlize theron and rapache look quiet boring to me, i do not like baby faced women at all. if she plays a hidden android with a different mind setting than david 8 than i hope we will see her destroying old sci fi clichees of androids can t take a shower.

i would not say they are not uber-beautiful. almost all people staring in the movie are very beautiful compared to global average, or maybe your scala of average beauty is not well adjusted to the statistical mean.
