MemberOvomorphMay-10-2012 7:12 PMWhile at the local market today I saw the Entertainment magazine with Prometheus on the cover. as I'm looking through it, I notice a photo with David leading Ford and another character(couldnt tell by distance/lighting) but, that dude looked as if he was carrying some sort of Rifle. To date, as far as I know, we've seen axes, flame units, pistols...but not a rifle type of weapon. Sorry if this is old and also for not having a scanned pic. Finally, the weaon looked to have a skeletonized, bright orange or red stock. Maybe the pre-cursor to the Pulse rifle. Just sayin

MemberOvomorphMay-10-2012 7:24 PMI know what you mean dude he's definitely holding a rifle of some kind, having some para-military trainning I can tell you that's how someone would carry such a weapon as to have it in some kind of ready position.

MemberOvomorphMay-11-2012 1:57 AMYeah, is possible that Ridley Scott has left a few winks to fans of Aliens (easter eggs for fans insidious)

MemberOvomorphMay-11-2012 1:52 AMThis should lead into the scene where Ford is shaking violently, as what looks like the hand of an Engineer is approaching her. You can see the guy with rifle off to the left.

MemberOvomorphMay-10-2012 8:29 PMPerhaps it's one of the famed, "Eton Rifles"?...
We didn't take a peek in their Artillery Room.

spot on!
Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born.
Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

MemberOvomorphMay-11-2012 8:03 AMWEYLAND STORM RIFLE
Fabricated from heat-resistant micro-perforated titanium, the Storm weighs 1.3kgs (empty of ammunition). With unrivaled technology like satellite-guided target detection, the Storm can track and assess a threat at over 300 miles away. At close range, it fires 5.56 mm uranium carbide spin-stabilized rounds, through auto-adjusting crosshairs.
Seems that every tech on the weyland site is in the film, which means ... POWER LOADER
