MemberOvomorphMarch 27, 20127901 Views50 RepliesI'm kinda biased towards "Aliens" so I'll go with Hudson's "what do you mean they cut the power? How could they cut the power man, they're animals?"

Xeno OriginsMarch 27, 2012
I will go with «Game over man! Game over». Or maybe «Get away from her, you bitch!».
hicksandhudsonMarch 27, 2012
Agree, almost anything Hudson says in Aliens. To me, Aliens was really the only quotable movie in the series
Honorable mention goes to Vazquez: "I just need to know one thing....where they are"

Xeno OriginsMarch 27, 2012
Sorry, but the dumbest line was from Hicks. «Stay frosty». Really??? I choose to believe Cameron missed that line...

klaatuMarch 27, 2012
And this....
HUDSON: Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man...?
VASQUEZ: No....Have you...?

Xeno OriginsMarch 27, 2012
May get stoned for an Alien Reserection quote but how about I heard you faught these things before. Ripley responds «yeah» Then she asked so what did you. And in classic Ripley fashion she replies «I died». Great line!

TheSNARKMarch 27, 2012
The best quote came from Alien, spoken by everyone but Ripley:
"AAAAARRRGGHHHH!!!!!......."
shawnMarch 27, 2012
thanks for all the repsonses guys/gals. almost forgot one that really kicks ass.......Vasquez "let's rock!!!"

LateMarch 27, 2012
I gotta go with one of the following:
"Man, what are we supposed to use, harsh language?"
Or:
"EAT THIS!!!!" (from our boy Hicks).
pslockMarch 27, 2012
Don't know how many of you know this but: in Aliens when Hudson jokes "Vazquez thought they meant ILLEGAL aliens and signed up" it's actually a reference to how Jenette Goldstein got involved with the movie. She came into auditions as a Hispanic "chola" style gangster character because she thought the movie really was going to be about Mexicans coming over the border or something like that, not actually about space aliens. She was cast in the film as that character, only a soldier of course...

Her interview in the blu-ray anthology set on revisiting the flick was amazing. Doesn't even look like the same person - think I remember the above comment coming from that. Might be wrong, but I remember the story about that joke. Good call.

"Oh you poor baby, I'll get off your back as soon as 12 module's fixed."

BioscopeMarch 27, 2012
I have to go with "My mommy always said there were no monsters, no REAL ones, but there are, aren't there?" spoken by newt in ALIENS.
Epitomises the entire franchise, spinoffs, forthcoming prequels, and also real life monsters (sexual predators, deviants, paedaphiles, serial killers).

klaatuMarch 27, 2012
HUDSON: How do get out of this chicken shit outfit
and
Ripley: Micro changes in air density, my ass.

Derelict JockeyMarch 28, 2012
ASH: "I admire its purity. A survivor... unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality."
mlb127March 28, 2012
From Alien "Do you say right "Right" after everything he says"? "Right" But every time I see that douchebag Newt Gingrich,I want him to say"MOSTLY"
BetterDuckJMGMarch 28, 2012
Aliens deleted scene - Hudson:.....we've got nukes, knives, sharp sticks...(in the drop ship)
Aliens deleted scene - Hudson: (sarcastically) Maybe we got 'em demoralized... (after 2nd pair of robot centuries thwarts alien attack, one gun empty and the other is down to like 10%, Hicks says "next time, the walk right up and knock," to which Ripley replies "they don't know that," referring to the aliens not knowing about the low ammo count.
Aliens - Apone: Somebody wake up Hicks!
BetterDuckJMGMarch 28, 2012
Newt: "They mostly come at night, mostly."
After the argument about forfeiture of shares: Dallas says were going in. Parker changing his tune says to Brett: "Yah, we're going in aren't we...
Parker to Brett: "They don't come down here because you got no personality."

ReeceMacoyMarch 28, 2012
some good ones already mentioned that i agree with, sooooo heres a few more
hicks - its game time
frost - i guess she dont like the cornbread either
bishop - i may be synthetic but im not stupid
vasquez - you always were an asshole gorman

Gravity .86March 28, 2012
Ripley: I'm coming down
Parker:She better stay the fuck out of my way
Brett(like a parrott):yeah she better stay out of my way

APONE: All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal’s a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!
GORMAN: All right…now LISTEN UP! I want this thing to go smooth and by the numbers. I want D.C.S. and tactical database assimilation by 0830. Ordinance loading, weapons strip, and drop ship prep details will have seven hours. NOW MOVE IT PEOPLE!

leaghtyMarch 28, 2012
i dont know but Hudson was always my favorite character in all the movies so far. I like how he went on that rant when they were flying in to that planet saying" I am the ultimate bad ass we guns, knives and all that
Spacey ManMarch 28, 2012
When Ash says I won't lie to you about your chances, but you have my sympathy.
shawnMarch 28, 2012
Yeah, Hudson definitely steals the show. Some of his quotes are still uttered between Modern infantryman to this day. truly stuff of legend. and another......"yeah man but its a dry heat". After 10+ years in the Army infantry, I never, ever once witnessed "a nice clean dispersal this time".
probably my fav of all time though, comes from Cpl Hicks.
Burke: he can't make that kind of desicion he's just a grunt, uh, no offense"
Hicks: "none taken, Faroh do you copy"
zzodrMarch 28, 2012
Burke - even though he was a corporate stooge, had some good ones.
"Why don't we build a fire, sing a couple of songs eh? Why don't we try that?"
"How can they impound it, if they don't know about it?"
"We both come out of this heroes, and we would be setup, for life"

gollum13March 28, 2012
i have a few favs
Hudson " yeah, Bishop should go"
or on box set, after aliens momentarily retreat, "maybe we got em demoralized"
and Apone "look into my eye", a classic
and "mostly", i throw that into too many conversations.

SpacePilotMarch 28, 2012
Just because it's pretty fitting for Prometheus, Alien, and Alien's.
"Ash, that transmission... Mother's deciphered part of it. It doesn't look like an S.O.S."
These films are always about either a signal/message they received, or like in Alien's, the lack there of. And then comes all the death.
ShinobiX9XMarch 28, 2012
Not the best, but did make me smile:
Ripley: How many drops is this for you, Lieutenant?
Gorman: Thirty eight... simulated.
Vasquez: How many *combat* drops?
Gorman: Uh, two. Including this one.
Drake: Shit.
Hudson: Oh, man...
and Alien (i hope Prometheus will help haha)
Ash: There is an explanation for this, you know.

Ripley:
"I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure."
Classic, because it is exactly what a smart person comes up with, and exactly what the audience is thinking. (i.e. you don't shoot Michael Myers and be done with it). So, Cameron gives the exact solution that is the very best and smartest thing to do--but then he makes it nearly impossible to achieve. Great line.
Mother:
|Special Order 937
Nostromo rerouted to new co-ordinates. Investigate life form. Gather specimen. Priority One. Insure return of organism for analysis. All other considerations secondary. Crew expendable__
Like a hammer drop. Perfect reveal coming from Mother. The first text message break-up.

Hudson: Is this gonna be a standup fight, sir, or another bug hunt?
"Another" bug hunt?
So, sometime during Ripley's 50 year hypersleep, other alien species (not necessarily Xenos) have been discovered and wiped out?
BetterDuckJMGMarch 28, 2012
Well, they didn't wipe out the Octarians, women or men. "Doesn't matter when its Octarian."
