MemberOvomorphMay-12-2012 3:39 AMHow do they know the answer to that question is "Earth"?
They're on a new planet. Not communicating too well with the locals..but seem to know when the Juggernaut takes off, exactly where it's going. From the star map, and their own knowledge they'd know there's a lot of planets in that Star Map...
My guess is they know because it is one of them (Weyland) who is stealing it. David has figured out the map/navigation (we see him cradling the holographic(?) Earth in his hands and several pictures of him working the controls quite comfortably.
My guess (slight amendment to Wrinkly Weyland thread) is that once David communicates that he has worked out some of the flight/navigation elements of the ship, that Weyland gets his Mercs to get him the hell off the Prometheus and over to the alien ship (see recent excellent screen caps of Mercs with Weyland (Thanks BigDave). By then he has communicated his plan to Vickers at least, so they know where he is heading. Things are a bit hot with mutations and the crew and so you can see the Mercs blasting a path. Q: Did I hear somewhere in a trailer, a voice saying"kill everything/one"? If so, perhaps that's Weylands order to the Mercs.
Thoughts?

MemberOvomorphMay-12-2012 4:21 AMI think that "Kill everything, do you copy me?" is Idris Elba's voice.
Though it seems to be quite certain that the juggernaut might be heading towards Earth.
For not knowing how the plot evolves, one may also assume that the Engineers know (without the need to communicate) that humans come from Earth anyway and are just waiting for mankind to poke them.
In the trailer, the answer "Earth" seems to be added/edited just for dramatic effect, and the real conversation could be different altogether; and that word "Earth" might be coming from a totally different situation/scene.
Also, I'd prefer them going to Swindon rather than Basingstoke.
Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born.
Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

Swindon's not without it's charm......but most of their mutant friends are in and around Basingstoke.
You could be right.....Perhaps the face huggers are engineered to stop human expansion once they know we've escaped the bounds of our solar system. They do seem rather designed to grip a human head and have it's genitals in the right place to drop that egg right in the kisser.

MemberOvomorphMay-12-2012 7:14 AMBasingstoke ... loooool ... classic ...
Remember though all those trailers are cut up into minute pieces and so do not necessarily go in chronological order ... the 'Earth' statment could be when David is holding the Holographic Earth in his hands and was from a totally different scene? ...

MemberOvomorphMay-12-2012 6:51 AMI doubt they would head for the Anvil. Maybe the Isle of White or Butlins....

MemberOvomorphMay-12-2012 6:54 AMHello , you all had misunderstood ! it's not "they're leaving" but , due to trailers in others countries (France , Spain...) it's truly : "they WERE leaving" , David discover it by warching the hologram replays and the star map... so it happened in the past , only one engineer alive.

MemberOvomorphMay-12-2012 5:50 AMBased on the trailers we assume she is referring to the SJs leaving.
She could easily be referring to Prometheus leaving and returning to earth. Remember she is on the planet when Prometheus rams the derelict.
Another take is the derelict puts itself in the path of Prometheus to stop it leaving with infected crew members on board that will wipe out earth.
