Possible Prometheus stowaway?

Are we overlooking one thing Weyland's best friend,his dog.It was seen with him in the 15 minute preview during his holographic intro to the Prometheus crew.And if he is aboard as suspected, he is mad,arrogant and vain enough to take "old yeller"with him in his cryo tube .After all Ripley had Jonesy the cat in hers. If he's unfortunate to accompany his master on what looks like a one way journey,what fate or plot twists await him?In Ridley's universe all dogs DON'T go to heaven.......Thoughts
