How Intellectually Stimulating Will Prometheus Be?......

never rub another mans rhubarb well it certainly seems original in terms of storyline..still cant figure out what the plot is..I like the different creatures...it will probably flop in America as it is not "explosiony" enough

I havn't seen the movie and have not exerted this much intelectual stimilus since learning my ABC's! So I think mission accomplished. We still have to debate over what we all think the movie means once we see it!

I think will try to push and break some new boundries not only in terms of effects etc, but as in the plot. As Ridley said its about everything, so its not just about a race who created the Xeno, its going to provide a lot of food for thought and also provoke certain sects of people.

I can't wait to watch this, religion, beliefs, what it means to exist. I think this film will first and foremost be a thrill ride then later having a beer with your friends just shooting the shit talking about it and what it means. So much build up just don't let me down :)

just curious why every thread you start is negative somehow ? What's the problem exactly? I think the best part about this film is quite obvious and has been for two years now...it's intellectual. Seriously, why all the pre-viewed and pre-assumed negativity?

Agree completely w @Bradleyhey ... The best movies (IMO) Have all been ones that my friends and I have spent hours/ sometimes days or weeks talking about after ... The Prestige ... Eternal Sunshine ... Memento .... Blade Runner .... I have a pretty good feeling Prometheus will be joining that list
