The word "Spoiler"

Well, there was a huge stink a week or so back when some legit spoilers were posted and people got mad that "spoiler" wasn't written on the post, so I guess people are playing it "better safe than sorry".

Agreed. People's own personal theories make up the majority of threads on these forums. Labelling them as spoilers just confuses people as to what's real and what's speculation. But if you are sure and have facts to back it up (such as photos) then by all means - state SPOILER..

If someone starts a thread and it is their own conjecture and somebody adds a post that is a confirmed spoiler, the topic gets the **SPOILER** stamp. The only alternative would be to request in the opening thread that no spoilers be posted in response and then REPORT any spoilers for deletion. We can't have it both ways, right?

I really don't think this needed yet another thread.

"Is it dead this time?" "I dunno, poke it with this stick and see."
