Prometheus Blu-Ray/DVD Box Set available for pre-order

Is it official and do they ship overseas? If yes, then maybe I should pre order.

It's as official as an Amazon site can be. But what does everyone think of the combination of those 4 movies? I cannot speak for the French website since I don't speak French, but it looks pretty legit to me as well.

Oh Jesus NO!!! It's true...the only reason they went to the planet was to search for more Unobtainium..... That's the reason there's a copy of Avatar in the boxed set....hence the tall blue alien..... fek! M

Of course that's not the case. Prometheus and Avatar are two different universes. It's just a foreign country cashing in on sci-fi craze.

Packing it with AVATAR is a great way to get me to not buy it. Never seen it never will.

It's ridiculous. The German edition says: "3 Blu-rays: Alien, Avatar & Der achte Passagier" Der achte Passagier = The eighth Passenger (aka Alien) LOL? The limited edition thing is legit, but I guess its contents haven't been disclosed. What's the point of Avatar anyway? Why don't they just slip in it a copy of Casablanca, then?

This is obviously a limited edition of 1500 pieces, so for THAT money plus the fact that I would give Avatar to someone random in the street, I will definitely give this one a miss! lol

@Shane...no kidding. In fact, if "Avatar" were to completely disappear, never be heard from again, and completely wiped from all of our memory banks, we'd be MUCH better off....It still sickens me to think of those stupid characters...

Its interesting to bring up the subject of the release of the Blu-ray/DVD in that I would have hoped there would be (the recently confirmed 15 certificate British cinema version) and a more adult orientated 18 version - released on disc. I see the censors have passed the movie in the UK without any cuts as a 15 - why not have a more adult orientated 18 version on disc too? Its not as if this isn't already going on already. Ridley loves to tinker with his films - I mean how many versions of Blade Runner are there lol?? I'm sure I have 5/6 at least in a boxset somewhere. Of course as some suggest maybe they will hold back on the blood and gore in Prometheus deliberately - although he has been quoted regarding Prometheus as saying 'I want to scare the sh*t into you.'

This [i]Avatar[/i] bashing has got to stop!! That cloud formation looks AWFULLY SIMILAR to HomeTree... Is that Polyphemus I spot in the background...??
