After Prometheus

If it does well there might be a chance of a sequel yes. We'll see.

I am a firm believer that BugHunter will continue to update the tech of the site for its functionality but also us fans will continue to speculate about the coming sequel (wishful thinking) and all other links. After the release this film will add to the lore of the overall franchise and create a mythology all its own. This site will still stand after the film and beyond .....no worries mate!!!

I suspect two things will happen after the release of Prometheus... 1. Fans will speculate and argue about a possible sequel, which will increase once we get official confirmation of a sequel. 2. Fans will argue and debate the movie, the alien creatures, its links to the Alien franchise and over ideas they liked/hated in the film. With no. 2 this can carry on for years, just look at existing films - we still get arguments regards... - Bishop II - man or android - Derelict Eggs - in or outside the Derelict - SJ Alien - Unseen antagonist or egg laying queen - SJ - fossilized or mummified - Queen - logical extension or blasphemous addition etc. etc. Although the member count will eventually drop, the discussions will most likely get more heated.

Hi zekere: As Snorkelbottom put it, there will be after-discussion of the movie. There is also a good chance the Forum may shift to Blade Runner 2 as well, as posted previously by another member or staff member.
