Noomi describes the monster as "every woman's worst nightmare," in regards to at least SOME of the "organic transformations."
From the beginning, I've always assumed there would be some sort of "birth" scene with Shaw. Later on, I figured it must be because the Engineers impregnate her somehow.
It occurred to me that many people haven't REACHED that conclusion, relying instead on somehow Holloway impregnating her. Which makes sense, although, after hearing her describe it as such that it would make SENSE,
that if the Engineers spliced their DNA with species all over the universe,
The most capable way of starting a new hybrid race would be to impregnate a species, i.e. Humans LITERALLY being born from Engineer wombs, or some equivalent of such,
leading to Shaws RAPIDLY growing womb, and describing it as a WOMAN'S worst nightmare, leads me to believe that she thinks that alien is about to crawl it's way out of her, Game of Thrones shadow-baby style.
Enter the medi-pod, "get it out of me!"
Cue soundtrack "Hello Mommy."
OF course, the other possibility is that the creature (I'm assuming the snake/pede/worm) "grows" in organic ways, maybe by going UP there, and then coming back out in a different form.
Either way,
poor Noomi Rapace.
First the Dragon Tattoo movies,
now this.
