Dude.... What is goin on with ya guys? I'm not new to this movie, lol I'm POINTING OUT that I saw the Weyland logo on that suit. That's all. You interpret that how you like. I think it must be near the end Of the movie. Before I spotted the logo, I thought it coulda been anything. But why would you think I'm..."having a laugh?" @_@

The journay took a while (years). Perhaps when they came back Weyland merged with Yutani.

The company is always there.... we are omnipresent.

But why [i]wouldn't[/i] they have the Weyland Symbol? Every other suit does...

W stands for 'Winning'.... Seriously though, I thought everyone knew this info as common Prometheus knowledge at this point....

Friends... look again! That is three triangles forming a "w" with three lines to either side forming "wings" ...you've seen this before as the Weylan insignia all throughout Alien and several Prometheus trailers... don't doubt the artist's eyes

If this contains information re: "a guy who posted a plot summary" then I ask the staff to modify the main title to mark it as "PLOT SPOILER" please. As soon as I saw that comment about the timing of appearance of these characters, I STOPPED reading this thread. I offer this as member feedback.

but who in fact is this mysterious weyland and why oh why haven't we ever heard of him giving a speech at a ted conference? He couldn't be the person who payed for the ship and everything on it! not in a million years!

Okay guys....something is happening here. WHY are you people sarcastically referring to Weyland as if I somehow DIDN'T know he was in this movie? Seriously- what is HAPPENING in your brains? I pointed out the Weyland logo on those suits. Because until now I had now idea who they might be. Now we know they work for Weyland industries. THAT'S IT! That's all I was saying. Nice find. I tend to think it doesn't mean much and is unlikely to be significant. This person has already been identified as a Prometheus crew member. The real question is why is Shaw so serious? She fakes being asleep to get the drop of some guy so afraid of her he is in a bio-suit. I just think it is the Weyland agenda showing up to get the alien tech at Shaw's expense. Shaw decides that maybe it isn't in her best interest to carry cuddles until it burst through her stomach, ala Kane. She smacks bio-suit guy and finds the medi-pod. Cut.

maybe this is Shaw after infection, (could be after her birth, too) and Weylands tried to examine her, obviously in her sleep.. but one is clear, she definetley dont like it and uses raw power to stop them, what indicates she got behind the agenda at a critical point. She isnt the person who would regulary use violence. I think she still is under aftershock after Halloways death.

what's the big deal? Everything in this movie has the logo on it.

@ taylor Caudle - I think most of us thought that you believed the symbol had the "Yutani" emblem in it as well, which would have corroborated certain facts from the recently leaked plot on the web. That's how I took it, at least. I think those who are getting upset at you are not meaning to be personal. Most of us were disappointed with the leaked plot, so any reference to it is bothersome, which may be why you have received such negative feedback.

One thing think this scene could be is at the end after Shaw and any survivors get back home to Earth, and of course Weyland Ent. wants to interrogate and find probe them and what not, and Shaw is not having it. Perhaps still infected and on her way to end it all.

You are all incorrect. it's a Boy Scout insignia. If you zoom in it reads Scoutmaster, Den 7.
