Didn't early drafts of Prometheus include time travel?

Havent heard that. Thought it was only speculated. IMO the addition of time travel would diminish the movie for me. Seems like a cheesy way out of a complex plot.

Great Scott! Who in their right mind would think time travel had anything to do with it? Time travel would be so out of place for this movie.

Time travel is my biggest fear of this movie, it just doesn't fit with a serious sci-fi like this.

Mind control is incredibly BORING to me. It could not be more cliché. The way it was used by Loki in [i]Avengers[/i] annoyed me to no end. Ugh. I find time travel "palatable," but it is RARELY done well. The very idea of it is inherently flawed if you're making a film for humans. Because we can only experience time linearly, our imaginations are very limited when it comes to thinking about it and its ramifications. That said, I don't see it having ANY place in this film.

Time travel has never been alluded to in Prometheus outside of fanfiction and the speculation of diseased minds. Mind control is only slightly less unlikely. The true horror of this film will be that the engineers will be shown to be very human-like.
