In terms of the that looking up with Ford, maybe its just another cobrahugger but from a different angle, like above them on the ceiling maybe (facehuggers can go on ceilings too) or maybe its the hammerpede which may not be the cobrahugger and something we havent seen yet. I doubt its an engineer I would expect them to appear at that point in the film yet (excluding the beginning)

Oh you mean from 1:10-1:11? It actually sounds to me like he is yelling "No!" and not "move". Maybe one of the crew just got murdered in a grisly way.

If you slowdown or pause the clip at the right second you see it's an engineer that is walking towards Ford and Merc is shooting at it. You can see the right hand of the engineer.

He's saying,"Move!.."

Telling Ford to move, and she can't Builds up the moment and the power over her body

I take it Ford wont be in the film very long then if that is the case. She doesnt seem to be in many scenes anyway.

also, just after that scene when david is in the map room, look to the back right of the scene and you see the big blue dude walking away or around...tis wierd :) but AMAZING!!! CANT WAIT!!!

She said in an interview forever ago shes in it 28 minutes till she gets killed.

@aintnozeno...is that Shaw? ive yet to see a clean look at that characters face. i cant get past the thought that Ford's an android. her "function" is very much like one an android would have : "help the crew adjust to recovering from cryosleep", or something of that nature, unless the staff got it wrong on the cast page. the way she's standing there, she doesnt even look frightened, just paralyzed, and twitching. nobody else is having that problem. she also has that pale face, chiseled face and precise, boring haircut like david does.

My take on Ford is she is paralyzed with fear. That would be Lambert form Alien. As to the "merc" he seems to be shooting at something big judging by the angle of his weapon. Don't think it's a little fellow.

The Scene where David is in the hall way and he is watching the holographic Engineers run at him... I think they are chasing the human hologram. if you look at how the engineers run, it doesn't match the other hologram.

@Tommie...although i see your connection, the pysical reaction from Ford is not really at all like Lamberts, from what we can see. Ford is clearly in convulsions...her arms calmly down by her sides, and no sign of fear on her face.

that interview in the newspaper was fake....and she is still in the film at least to the point where it is kicking off when the guys are firing pistols

Whoever it is would be the most realistic character in the film, because they aren't wasting a perfect opportunity to bug out! Chain gun in hand? I'll stay and fight... 28 minutes in a 119 minute movie? I bet shit is starting to get real by that point. I'm hoping they spend little time on the ship or with the crew. But that is mostly because I find the crew completely uninspiring. I am more interested in the engineers story then how they defeat him or whatever. Like to me the crew is cannon fodder to tell the story of a god that maybe created us along with a lot of nasty other things. I have no interest in their characters [as they all seem to be walking cliches, Shaw the scientist losing her faith, Vickers the hard ass who cracks under pressure, David the annoying robot who gets his head ripped off in a scene that will be hard for me to not clap during, The wise cracking black captain, etc etc etc]. I just am more interested in the alien world and culture. Seems we are going to get more "Monsters chasing shit in space" then "2001" at this point. If we look at what we have seen clip wise so far, all that has to take place in 107-109 minutes as the last 10 minutes hasn't been seen by the trailer editors. That seems like a hell of a lot for that time frame. So yeah, 28 minutes in i figure heads start rolling.

I count 7 space jockeys running in the hologram. Looks like they encountered the same disasterous consequences the humans did.
