MemberOvomorphMay-23-2012 4:15 PMAs the title suggest does anyone know if the Alien films are being considered for a 3D conversion akin to The Phantom Menace.Having been born to late to see Alien on the big screen I think I would still fork out the price of a ticket to see it again????

Have you heard of phoenix asteroids?
They glow in every color of the rainbow...they travel endlessly through space...

MemberOvomorphMay-23-2012 4:31 PMGod I hope not. Those Star Wars 3D & especially IMAX transfers were horrible.

MemberOvomorphMay-23-2012 5:00 PMRemastered and digital in the original movie? Yes. 3D, no.....it's not an in your face type movie like Aliens is, the suspense kills you before the Alien does. It's more psychological than anything.

MemberOvomorphMay-24-2012 8:37 AMI think Alien on Bluray is pretty damn fantastic as it is......better than the DVD.
Like the colours in the Space Jockey.....you can see all the textures and browns n stuff.

MemberOvomorphMay-24-2012 8:40 AMI shouldn't think there would be a big enough market for Alien to be re-released in 3D, plus it is very dark, which doesn't work well with 3D
