David + Ampule

well i'm just shooting in the dark here. but people have been making pretty sound theories about David's study of the ampules and how hes working on some kind of elixir for life or regeneration. well since its been shown that he gets his head torn off (not proven), maybe he is able to stay conscious and take a drink of the elixir. maybe he had it on him. then when he drank it he dissolved instead or mutated into a Xeno-ish creature. since i heard that the Xenomorph has a lot of machine qualities and would explain why its composed of different things like silicon and acid and metal teeth and hard exoskeleton

I think that (for RS) the xeno is the result of a facehugger+human incubation. So maybe xeno-ish. I think the idea of xeno-ish is the "oh of course" moment RS talked about in a recent interview. With that in mind, you could be onto something here.

i can just see it. since in the clips hes obsessed with the liquid. he even puts it on his finger.

If that is indeed what he is trying to create then it would make sense that it is intended for Weyland and why he is aboard the Prometheus in the first place.

idk, i really think thats right, he even says to holloway "what would you do to discover something"...or something like that. but you could make connections with anything, like the acid blood and silicon and being able to survive in low atmosphere. and how the weyland logo is on davids finger and he puts the drop there and how the cobra thing is the same shape and how david says big things come from small beginnings. i think he releases the creature somehow.

I'm pretty sure david is able to stay alive with his head cut off because he is an android. Sort of like the android from alien when his head was severed. As far as him morphing into the xeno, that cannot be if we are to believe what RS has said and if you have paid attention to the trailers and featurettes.

he is still functional with his head off, but It's important to note that the xeno is already an existing organism when the crew lands. The engineers created it, but it isn't created this trip. The mural pic behind the Prometheus trailers icon is a clear indicator of that. The crew doesn't encounter that particular bioweapon on this trip, but considering that both creatures have the same originator; it would follow that they would have similar characteristics.

Safe? Of course he isn't safe, but he's good!

well the only proof i see that the xeno is pre prometheus is the mural thats the icon up there. and that could be fake or have nothing to do with anything. if the engineers knew about those things they would have heavier armor.
