-----------------------------------------------------------------Having seen Prom and expressed my views else where and said there needs to be a follow up ...on reflection im not that sure I would be up for it .
Am a bit deflated by this saga and hype and cant see where the next one is going or really care give the amount of cheese heaped on the end of this piece.
The next offering really needs to hit the spot .....viz plot ,writing , script and charactisation ...
we shall see.

The whole thing hat Lindelof written all over it! Lot's of people are talking sequel. IMO it can't be a very rounded film IF it already requires a sequel to satify people's questions and ideas. Even as part of a series a film requires a beginning a middle & an end. This is basic stuff we're talking here that any film has to get right. Prometheus has a beginning a mess .... and then it ends! It does a great job of setting up a potential new frnachise. But sadly it doesn't do much else being a hugely impressive visual feast.

MemberOvomorphJun-02-2012 3:24 AMThe first one has to be a success to begin with...It hasnt even been released worldwide yet, you'd want to see a better than triple return on the investment for any chance of a sequel.
