@Spartacus you may like it. I just feel that it could have been more maybe with the hype etc i donno, it wasnt a bad film if you take it out of the ALIEN universe id be here saying it was fantastic. Im just confused rite now maybe i need to get my thinking cap on and really dig into what i seen. Maybe i missed something due to its fast pace who knows.

yup but Lindelf and Scott just pretty much confirmed sequels...so...I guess this con will be continue..it will all be neatly wrapped up the same way Lost was I'm sure I'm sorry but I feel like I am being taken for an idiot when Lindelof says we need to watch it "a lot of times" and that it is because we are too stupid that we don't understand the 'big picture' I really believe now Lindelof is a fraudster, I really question that mans moral integrity I think he is someone who will goto jail soon

if Lindelof explains to me the full story, fully concluded, however far fetched, I will forgive him...I am waiting But then that still doesn't fix the shoddy character development and their incredibly irrational behaviour and decisions

some of ^^ is true, I agree and I really liked the film. Should have been a two parter as there are a lot of characters and even though that was true of Aliens as well, which was also fast paced, there was more character-building going on so its one weak area is the script.

People need to care less about having things explained down to detail. There is enough in Prometheus to get a pretty good idea of what is going on ..... anyone in need of being spoonfed? Wrong movie to watch :)

Yeah I keep reading these reviews from folks and it ems lik they are not goodwith conceps, all those folks who wanted the smoke monster in lost and evry othet big concept in that show answered perfectly.....life doesnt work tha way, its not t an Agatha Christy novel. Not damons writing, but I loved the sopranos ending too.

After 35 we still don't know a thing about that race. We just know that the one in alien was just a suit and the real engineer was in. Why the engineer at the beginning of the film sacrificed his self; Who killed the engineers in the temple. Why the last engineer did not left the planet after the deaths of his mates; What was the thing that came out of the engineers chest; If alien fans have so many questions imagine how confused and frustrated would be the people that just love to watch science fiction movies.
