MemberOvomorphJun-03-2012 1:43 AMits going to be a real ride to see how scott or (most likely) another director is going to connect the dots.
its going to be fun how they explain the engineer homeworld or plotline, or how they get to where the alien is, on lv 423 to lv 223. and how the big engineer still fits with it.
i havnt seen prometheus yet. whats up with the davids head gettin pulled off and thrown at weyland? did the engineer seem to recognize weyland and used the closest thing to him to kill him? a few responses to both would be greatly appreciated.

MemberOvomorphJun-03-2012 2:15 AMI think the reason the Engineer got pissed off was he saw the way shaw was being treated and in distress and reaised that David was a synthetic. He was disappointed with the creations and annoyed they had become the creators.
Ties in with the Promeathean mythology ....viz gods and fire etc.
Thats my take anyway.

MemberOvomorphJun-03-2012 2:40 AMi think the engineer saw he human like dogs or something , and when one of them starts to talk gets pissed off with them . then security shoots him then he goes mad . going back to the promeheus theme, david stole from them . also david having no moral compass coud have said anything to the engineer.
janek was bang on with his thoughts :)

MemberOvomorphJun-03-2012 2:51 AMI think the point where someone in this forum said, humans were more like a part of vessel for xenomorph to be born makes sense. So that could be the way, engineers are making planets and then populating it with xenomorphs as per their usage. But considering the acid based life form i wonder how they are even using them as a weapon.
Uncertainty is the only certainty there is, and knowing how to live with insecurity is the only security.
