Wow, it sounds like 3D may not be the way to go with this one after all. Definitely going to have to try to see it in the morning to beat the crowds as well, it sounds like that really took away from your experience of watching the film.

I'm not a big fan of sharing a cinema with really ignorant noisy clients. I'm looking forward to re-watching this at home in 2D when the DVD comes out - imagine the Extras. :)

Fifield scene was very poor IMO ... I hope the DVD / Blu-Ray help with that and some loose ends in the premise.

I sensed a MASSIVE edit on one of the Fifield executions in the docking bay area. The scene just CUT, in a very abrupt fashion as he was really getting into the slaughter. I suspect a DIRECTOR'S CUT will be rated 18 - if we're lucky!

the varied aspects of the encounter with alien goo, all the varied consequences we see in this LOST-writer written film just don't gel. the ALIEN film was clean and nasty and pure this film, while delicious in an over-lit PORN way, just didn't know what it was Seriously, too many cooks spoiled this broth.

ive watched it twice now once each in 2 and 3d disliked the movie 1st time round (in 3d) but did enjoy it a lot more 2nd time round heres and i think that one of the reasons why is it looks absolutely great in 3d maybe to good i was to busy thinking how good it did look than actually paying attention dont get me wrong its not a great movie but it is good youve just got to leave any preconceptions of what you think the movie should be at the door
