Any spoilers posted will be removed (the entire post).[/size] -----------------------------------------------------------------The only suspense and anticipation about Prometheus has been on this forum. The movie IMO lacked any suspense and thrills. No shocks or scares. Visually it looked fantastic and the opening scenes promised an epic. However it was long winded and didn't really get going. Too many false starts. The action sequences involving infected crew were lack lustre at best. And as for the ending........oh dear!! What a pile of poo

....so a sequel in an inevitability !....it might take a while tho if ridley does in fact do it....only other director i would favor is Cameron ...or perhaps Finch?

Strange, I see people praising the ending and people hating it. Seems truly subjective. And for every scene you disliked, another enjoyed. People are very divided here. I guess to each their own, right?

Nothing subjective to the ending. It feels hurried, a couple more minutes would have given the movie a conclusion.

...Polarized....extremely so...i keep seeing this....tho very few people completely hated it...as for the general audience and critics....they much more forgiving it seems.....at 79% @ RT it still looking very positive and it is doing extremely well in all countries released....so i doubt it will flop commercially....might even break a few records!

From financial aspect - Prometheus will be a great success for sure. [b]Box office on prometheus TODAY (03.06) is already at 35.000.000$.[/b] And the movie has not startet in maybe the main cinema countries USA and Germany yet!

i can live with fincher doing a sequel but if camerons aboard it will turn into a military free for all bombastic nightmare of a mess with kids drenched in sentiment.

All I can say to you all is not to be too gutted when you see it. It is NOT a sci-fy horror film like Alien..I would happily let my 12 year old watch it.
